First of all ANYONE beating SCHS girls at the "grill" have a heck of a celebration. Who can blame them it doesn't happen much. I haven't missed a home game in a few years. I didn't think Lawrence County did anything disrespecting Shelbyville. They didn't have time! The boys started immediately. We sit and get dealt crap in the MVP vote this year and say nothing. It's the way it has been the last 30 years. Shelbyville is to TSSAA AAA Womens BBall what the Dallas Cowboys of the 70's were to the NFL. You either love them or hate them. They are the "Gold Standard" in Tennessee. Last nights ball game was not a "get even" game. That's where you all are wrong. Last night was "business", plan and simply. If they continue playing "business like" they will once again make it to the state. I'm guessing that's about 20 - 21 years of age. So lets say the last 20 years. Jarrell was beat last night, like a drum. "Precious" stood and watched it and called Buchanan and Bryant for each breath they took. Then he had the GALL to ball out both set of girls after a ridiculous foul to settle down after watching it for the entire second half. We have never gotten anything from the officials and never will.

I look for a Shelbyville/Lincoln Co Final. With the way Lincoln Co shoots sometimes and other factors that always affect 8AAA it could be anyones game. But I'm pulling for the Eaglettes!

Lincoln County beats Lawrence County! Shelbyville winning. SCHS claims district, Lincoln County controls its destiny for 2nd! Lawrence County 3rd. Great job Eaglettes!

You're right about that WB3! This district is right behind 9AAA. If anyone shows up not ready to play or has a bad night, you can be beat here. I do look for Shelbyville to have a concerted effort tonight though. With a win they clinch at least a tie for first in the disrtict. If Lawrence Co loses and they win they clinch alone.

I think FC is the toughest place to play in the district. It has nothing to do with the fans though. The way the gym is set up is just different. Baskets with no wall behind them. This makes a difference when you place there only once a year.

SCHS by 9. They will be ready. SCHS Center Rowland & PG Deonta Twilley. They are the keys. Rowland must have a good night controlling the middle. Twilley must do that thang he does with the basketball.

Unlikely, Shelbyville by 16+. Anything CAN happen, but it's not likely. Shelbyville's too deep. If 3 of their girls have an off night, it hasn't beat them in Region yet.
