I was talking to my father and he said the Armstrong kid was being recruited by Boston College, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Chattanooga and Clemson. She is really making a difference for Columbia in their post game. She could be the difference in this game.

He has a lot of talent. With that being said, he runs a great program. Espically for a young first time head coach. He is great at x's & o's. I bet Lawrence County wishes they still had him around!!

Just wondering who was going to be there?? Normally it is a great Team Camp. But I have noticed that a lot of other teams are starting to host their own?? Any info??

Well last night begs the Question, which District is the Best?? #1 Shelbyville beat #4 ( who had been #1 all year) White Co by 40pts #3 Lawrence Co beat #2 Blackman by 15 pts #4 Columbia beat #1 Cookeville by 6 pts And the only win for Dist 7 came with #3 Oakland beating #2 Coffee Co by 1 pt. After last night, it is obvious that Dist 8 is more Athletic and has more overall talent than Dist 7. This could have been opinion until last night, then it was made fact. So to all of you who have been screaming that Dist 7 is a tougher District than Dist 8, you were proved wrong last night. Let's see what you have to say now !!!

Blackman can't stop Spann just like they couldn't stop Reed Friday night. Lawrence County by 6.

What are the brackets? What are the predictions of who will be the top 4 to advance to the Region?

Where will you be???

Columbia is coached by Rachael(gobble)Moore. She played at Columbia, Tennessee Tech. She was an assistant at tech for two tears( I think). She returns to her alma mater to coach a very young basketball team. Nancy Moore is a junior. She is the only kid on the team who say much playing time last year. Everyone else has little to no varsity experience. Alex Ross, DeAndrea Bullock are Sophomores. Moore, Ross, Bullock can play. Possible Div. 1 prospects. Good supporting cast. Smith, she is a junior. Dooley, is a senior. But has never really gotten to play till this year. Columbia is young. And will probably take some hits this year. They improve every game. Sorry I don't know a lot of names. I know Reed can play for cookeville. I saw Cookeville play against Lincoln Co. in a Hall of Fame Game. Lincoln Co. is not very good. And Cookeville only won by 4. I saw White Co. beat a decent Lawrence Co. team pretty good. I just tthink White Co. may be a little better position by position. But hey, thats why they play the game!!!!

The TSSAA is keeping the public schools and private schools together. WHat is your thoughts. Personally, I don't like it. Teams like Collinwood, who submitted the change to TSSAA can never compete year in and year out with private schools. What do you think???

Is the game at White County? If so, White County by 15. If not, White County by 8. I have seen both teams play. Position for position, White County is a little more talented. Of Course, that is just an oppinion

I know Lawrenceburg has not gotten off to a great start. But I think this will be a good game. It always is. It is the best rivaliry in District 8 - AAA
