I highly doubt that halls could win with Rob Catapano on the mound. he pitched in the region championship which halls lost to farragut 15-0. He's a great pitcher, i just can't see halls beating him. He beat munford allowing just one earned run and i believe that munford is a much better team than halls. So don't go around saying that you only lost because we pitched Kyle. I know Kyle is great and you blame the loss on that and the fact that you can't hit him. But last i checked, Halls couldn't hit rob either. JMo, you apparently don't realize...I have no connection to Halls at all. I'm a completely neutral observer. I'm not blaming any losses on anything. My team got knocked out in their district tourney, for what it's worth. Does Halls only get one run in the fourth and none in the seventh if Waldrop isn't pitching? Maybe so, but I think their chances to score would have been better against any other pitcher in the state. Catopano is an excellent pitcher, but with the game Larsen had, it took Waldrop being on his game for Farragut to win. And they did. The reply wasn't directed at you. One of the Halls player, i can't remember which says in the knoxville news sentinal that if any other pitched was on the mound, they would be state champs. I was just upset with that comment because earlier in the year farragut beat halls 15-0 with a different pitcher. Kyle also pitched with 2 days rest which is amazing if you ask me.

Rob just can't throw the heat like kyle. But he could by senior year. We'll just have to wait and see. Rob's curve is amazing. The kid can only get better.

Farragut's goal margin in the state tournament was 17-3. Enough said. Congrats to a well deserving "NATIONAL" champion. It sure feels good to win 2 state championships in the same day.

I have watched all the baseball games this past week in Memphis and have been impressed by Halls. I wasn't impressed at all with Halls when they lost to Farragut back in regions, but they have done great since. Everyone overlooked them this past week, but Halls played great baseball. I'm pulling for Farragut, but I have to say congrats to the Red Devils for making a great run. It should be a great game tonight, Autozone field is amazing.

I really hope that some day I may be as cool as Playdo. I can only dream that one day I will be able to Harbrace Coach T posts. Oh I can only hope to be as cool as that guy!

I would take the entire farragut infield. None of those guys make any errors. They only times i've seen bobbles this year has been on hard hit balls. They also all have rockets for arms. Especially Tonny D who can only get better since he's just a sophmore.

If you remember correctly Halls got cocky in basketball season when they beat bearden in the region tourney. Players were quoted in the paper saying that they were going to upset farragut. Farragut beat halls. You guys are getting cocky again and you will lose again. Good luck scoring with Catapano on the mound. The admiral lineup right now is also very strong. Everybody is making solid contact every at bat. And the main reason most of us picked SD to win over you guys monday night was because we want to play SD again. It's becoming a good rivalry. Lets just hope you halls people aren't as bad as the SD fans were. And i have faith that you aren't.

Well said gameday. I think he'll go no sooner than 4th. I really like the kid, he's a great catcher. But i don't think he has a good enough bat for the pros. Haveing a good bat can be a major factor on who gets starting roles. If he goes to Bama he can only get better and he will go higher in the draft and enter the pros as a better player.

Awesome game. I think the Admirals are playing their best and they are going to be hard to beat. How bout that 10 K performance. I was out of my seat every time i sat down to put up another K. I wish the Admirals luck wednesday against halls as they play for home field in sub-state. Congrats to Karns on a good season. And at least we don't have to deal with those South Doyle fans anymore.

If waldrop doesn't pitch then karns would have to deal with rob catapano. Karns see a great pitcher so they better be ready to play.

Congrats to Maryville on the win. Farragut just had one of those days. Nobody really played bad, they just couldn't get things to go their way. Farragut will recover and i think they will win district. Maryville is a good team, but i think Farragut will take it.

The kid also has alot of speed. Tonight against science hill he stretched out a routine single line drive that was in front of the centerfielder into a double. Farragut's lineup has just gone from amazing to incredibly amazing.

If the one call cost you the game then you didn't play well enough to win. If the guy from Warren county got a hit instead of doing a check swing then there would be no argument. Baseball is such a situational game it is very hard to say a game would go one way on just one call.
