Hey King, take your personal vendetta somewhere other than on this board. You're getting way out of line on here. This board is for fun. To be honest with you, you started this whole nasty thing and frankly everyone is tired of reading it. Everytime you post it's always something negative about everyother school but Cloudland. I don't see Unaka, Happy Valley, Hampton or Etown talking all this garbage. Grow up, get a life and stop all this stupid posting.

I don't think that's it. I really think they care if the team wins or loses but they just don't get fired up like chambers, holtsclaw and cline. Those 3 take the game very seriously. I think that chambers would probable like to go on to play somewhere later on but I haven't heard anything about the others but their only juniors. You've got a good bunch of kids on that team but the coach needs to light a fire under them. I don't know if it's the style of play their playing or what it is but somethings gotta change..

What do you think it will take to get unaka motivated? They seem to have the talent but not the drive. Chambers, Holtsclaw and Cline play their heart out but the others are barely showing up. What's the deal?

My question is, who holds the refs accountable for the way they call? Sure their going to miss a few but to blantantly call in favor of one team or the other is not acceptable. Does the "king of referees" occassionaly drop by and critique the way the ref's are calling? Who do they report to?

Bulldog9....... The only reason you don't want to play unaka in basketball is because you guys couldn't even give us a game much less beat us. In the past, these two teams have given each other a little competition. Hampton knew they were going to be down last year and this year and this football thing was the perfect excuse not to play us in basketball or baseball. From what I've been reading on here, you guys are trying to blame Hazelwood for your loses but in all actuality, you just don't have the talent to compete this year. Buddy may have a different way of coaching, and yes he probably does expect respect from the players but there's nothing wrong with the method he uses to coach. Hampton has always been known to have a bunch of prima dona players whose main concern was how many points can (I) score or how many assists can (I) have. Face it, the bottom line was you guys couldn't beat us and that's way you didn't want to play us. And you can't blame hazelwood for this one because this decision was made way before he took the team.

Come on HVWarrior, you don't care a hill of beans whether the rangers succeed or not. No one was trying to turn the attention from the "underachieving ranger team" to the mighty warriors" just to make them look bad. Sure Unaka needs to step up their game but they definately don't need a bench-warming player or a bleacher-riding spectator telling coach chambers how to coach his team. Unaka will re-group and they will prevail in the conference.

To Writestuff..You said the polls were based on weekly opinions, well I have to agree with OSUBRUTUS, your opinion may be slightly clouded when it come to any school other than EHS. Next time sign your name because everyone on here who has read the polls or any article that you've written about EHS knows who you are.

Hey rainman, I think you've got Unaka confused with Cloudland as being overrated. I've heard the praises of cloudland sung until I'm ready to puke. Their no better than any other team in this area. Maybe they should try and play the schedule that unaka plays and we could really see what their made of. Until they've traveled the road that unaka has, my suggestion would be to zip it.

The game tonight with Harriman/Unaka has been rescheduled for Monday night.

Maybe it depends on which coach kisses the medias butt more whether you get your picture in the "STAR"... Just because HV's coach has been coaching for a gazillion years shouldn't warrant anymore media coverage that all the other schools...

That's right krish, I think Unaka did beat HV. Looks like the lady warriors must have been making excuses and not "taking care of business". Didn't they get beat by the lady cyclones also?????
