  1. Cool formula. Hats off for a Good season to SM also. I guess we will just find out what the struggling MC offense can do Friday night won't we?' Can't wait
  2. Yes, the last game vs LA, the same team yall played this year, MC rushed for 400 on Hog-eye, I didn't know Stone had the best rushing team in 4a, even with their wing t offense. If you are going to plan on stopping MC rushing attack and forget their passing game than whoa nelly!
  3. Ohh man, MC D line is 8 deep with no Offense starters, the O line is experienced and play as one unit. They are technicians in the trench, they don't just get pancakes they eat the whole box! #48 and #70 are really fun to watch if you are a MC fan. They just don't come off the ball and put hands on you, they drive you to the fence and let you off on the whistle. I know Im just blowing them up because I'm a tiger fan but I can truly say I have enjoyed watching this bunch and can't wait for the challenge they have in going up against a very tough oppentent in East Hamilton.
  4. Far is the trip us fans have to make to support the team and we are coming loud and ready to get rowdy! With your name MCvolfan you should be pulling for us tigers as well. I don't know much about y'all's team other than the breakdown you have gave, sounds like a physical matchup and I can't wait to watch it. If it's going to be won in the trenches than I like our chances. Good luck to both teams this week, can't wait for Friday! It's playoff football time, it's Tiger time!!
  5. QB Posey had a big night with over 100 rushing and two tds and over 200 passing and two tds. Marshall's D played really solid other than the long run Linder broke with 5 seconds before half. Hats off to Linder, he ran hard and was fun to watch but I was impressed with Tigers tackling on him for the most part,
  6. Never said he wouldn't play for any of those metro teams MC played, just was referring to the speed. Everything I've heard is that he is fast and a awesome back, not doubting it one bit. You don't put up those kind of numbers by just being average. But oh yea MC's offense isn't to bad theirselves lead by Ashton Posey and his many weapons/ very solid O line, LA better not have many that go both sides of the ball cause the Tigers dont. It sounds like the fans will get more than their tickets worth.
  7. Gruden? So now he has some land in Giles county that no one knew about until now I guess
  8. Neither team prolly has 4.5 guys but some high 4.6s more like it. Not making fun of plateau boys but they also aren't metro teams that MC played against all year either, the kid MC had to face vs maplewood is a future USA Olympic track guy I think someone said at the game from there. Just making the point that being fast vs your oppentent is one thing but truly being fast fast is a whole different can of worms. Good luck to both teams and don't forget Hog Eye folks to come try the concession stand grub, you will enjoy.
  9. You might be right, that's why I'm so excited to watch this matchup.
  10. You really haven't watched MC play this year then right? I know Linder is fast but he isn't playing up on the plateau tomorrow night. Ask around before you make the trip and see how much speed MC has on this team,
  11. Haha I like it! Word is big Payton Hood is a Chevy man and he is about to lock it in 4wheel drive for tomorrow night! Secondary has plenty of speed to run him down if he does escape the beasts up front. It's football time, it's Tiger time!!
  12. Looking forward to seeing this one, hopefully our boys will be ready and hungry enough to tackle the Cadillac.
  13. Great post by just stating the facts and the truth. Hope both teams in Marshall county do well this week, kids have done great representing their communites this year.
  14. Cool story man but it sounds a lot like my kids classroom talk going on, Good job and Good luck to y'all this week. MC and LA should be a good game with possibly a a lot of points and some good players on display. I'm excited to see this running back Linder
  15. Yes that 2 point Forrest loss to Page that y'all couldn't stop yelling about earlier in the season really doesn't look so strong now uh? Good job pointing that out.
  16. Looking forward to this one, MC took care of business vs CC like they was suppose to. Now LA rolls into Lewisburg with a running back that has rushed for over 4 thousand yards the last two seasons, as SMpanthers stated you stop him you stop them. Easier said then done I bet, but the tigers are up for the challenge and will be ready to go! I expect the HOP to be rocking again, we had a great crowd in the nasty weather Friday and the atmosphere was great for playoff football.
  17. Yes I was dead wrong on this one too, congrats to EH.
  18. Hope the Pats have a big night and unleash the offense on them boys from out east. If they don't turn it over a bunch I expect Page to win by 10+
  19. I said it's possible, I can honestly say that I haven't seen enough of region 3 to pick the games but I do think Stone Memorial gets a tough draw with GC being a 4 ceed with one of the best backs they have faced all year. Page will score points unless this weather is hurricane weather so EH won't have it easy stopping Roberts and their scrappy bunch. I could be wrong and it won't be the first time if so. Marshall welcomes all region 3 teams to Lewisburg and we hope you enjoy the show. Tigers will leaveamark on em!
  20. Mighty nice of you BD, word is when Posey was told about being nominated his response was "I just want to keep playing with my brothers" very good kid. I think it's possible that region 4 gets 3/4 wins tomorrow night excluding Lawrenceburg. It could be split 2/2 but we will see. I do know that the HOP in Lewisburg will be rocking and rolling, it will be a very tough place for any team visiting to play in. Good luck, it's playoff time, it's Tiger time!!!
  21. Yea no joke, didnt know first week of playoffs was when they did that. If Posey doesn't win the MVP then I would think Roberts RB/LB from Page will get it because he started on both sides of the ball all year and is deserving. Posey will win his share of District/Region awards and so will Tucker of Giles. I would expect Posey to be one of these finalist for Mr.Football
  22. I don't doubt you at all and I haven't had the chance to watch these two players but if both teams advance like they should then next week you will see skill players in Lewisburg, #4 and #10 Howard and Crutcher will give a defense nightmares trying to contain either. Hope we get to see this matchup if both handle their business this week. Playoffs= the best time of the year
  23. Very good and true post hogswild, like I've been saying for a while, these haters love to hate. I guess it kinda confirms that other teams and fans are concerned more about MC than their own team. I love it!
