  2. Lipscomb can absolutely light it up. Maybe their coach doesn't want them to shoot the ball from deep that much but I think if they had shot more in the district tourney they would have done better because they were open so many times and didn't shoot the ball. Particularly Pennington, Hopkins, Pharr, and Robertson. McPherson and Mantlo shoot alot alredy and they need to keep it up b/c that whole lineup can shoot the ball well.
  3. I feel MLK will win in the first round and probably the second depending on who they play. Lipscomb and Greenbrier will be a good game to watch since DL has beat them twice this season but I think GB will be ready to make this a good game but its too close to predict. Station Camp and Hume Fogg will be another good game to watch and will also be too close to predict. I'm gonna take Portland over East Lit in the first round. This will be a great first round.

    8AA

Even if you know who you think are the best 4 teams you can't say who will be the 4 who go to the regions because you don't know who will play who in the district tourney and most of the teams can end up anywhere from #2-#7 going into the tourney, but if I had to make a guess I would say the four would be 1. MLK 2. Station Camp 3. Greenbrier 4. David Lipscomb
  5. You almost picked that one perfect
  6. This just shows how balanced district 8AA is...SC(#5 or 6) can play with the #1 team MLK... East Lit (#8) beat Greenbrier(#2 or 3) by a few points tonight...David Lipscomb beat a good Hume Fogg team by a few points...any one can win on any given night and just about every game will be close
  7. I know we are a little off topic, but I think district 8AA would have a pretty nice team too. MLK-Johnny Lee (probably more) Hume Fogg-Alex Renfroe, Renard Robinson(I think that's how you spell it) David Lipscomb-McPherson,Hayes Greenbrier-Kenton Coleman, Jeffrey Brant East Lit-Brandon Smith Station Camp-Josh Jones(really athletic) Springfield-all athletic but not great team players Portland-Corey Brewer I think they could compete with just about anybody(if Brewer played team ball)
  8. That is exactly right. If Springfield comes with a good attitude and plays as a team it could be close but I still pick SC by about 10-15
  9. this wouldn't happen to be "the Dever boy" himself, would it if it is, you're making it too obvious that you're the one throwing the hissy fit and whining about your former days at Greenbrier. sounds like it worked out well for both teams....both seem to be doing well so far this season also, what makes you think goodpasture could beat greenbrier so bad
  10. Hume Fogg-Renfro is doing well and making up for the lack of post game you would expect from the 7-footer MLK-the whole team is good...the team to beat David Lipscomb-Haven't heard much about them but i know they hustle as always they'reranked pretty high Greenbrier-started off well...was ranked high...lot of talent and play well as a team...should do well....Coleman averages about 23 a game right now Station Camp- really quick and talented...should do well
  11. portland has lost a few games.....one was district Brewer steps up real well when he's not being depended on too much....when they depend on him too much the team doesnt play well together.... he has a pretty good line up to help him out if he would use them.Adams is a good(quick) point guard and Rodriguez can shoot real well
