Hey father ryan wrestling I sure wish you would choose a different thread to vent your anti Big seven recruiting accusations on. I was really enjoying the previous 25 or so posts where the public fans (Maryville-Riverdale-Powell-Central)ect... were ripping each other for all the rercuiting they usually acuse anyone in the private side for. Let's give them their space. We don't get this refreshing opportunity very often!!

devilfanatic, before you decide how cpa could fair against smith co. next year in 2a you might want to talk to coach Rankin at a little 5a school down the road called Riverdale earlier this year.The same Riverdale that has only given up a total of 22 pts. against the six 5A teams they played the last 6 weeks. The same team cpa led 14-13 and scored 28 pts. on. Of course, you probably would not have a point of reference since smith co. has probably never played a 5a state champion or would even consider doing so. And like most public school fans you can't understand how the quality programs that happen to be private schools could have the unbelievable ability to turn kindergarden 5 year olds into 12th grade State Champions. That same strugle exist in an office on Lebanon Road . I hope you get the chance to judge the CPA program for yourself when they move to 2a instead of making blanket statement about private schools with the recruiting excuse. When your facts have no basis outside of what you heard in smith county. Hard work, great coaching and doing things the right way goes a long way towards success in football and even more in everyday life. CPA may or may not dominate in 2a but within the next four years if you take the time find out the truth you might not be as quick to assume that everyone who succeeds cheats.

By the way if you looked in the paper when he committed it talk about him and LSU and UGA both of those schools dropped him from there recruiting list the day before he committed to UT. And when he was at UGA camp this summer where he did have a verbal soft offer from them. They dropped him from the list and added travis sikes after seeing them both at Georgia camp. Even if you go to rivals recruiting it doesnt have a offer from LSU or Georgia.

I think UT wasted this commentment he may be fast but is not an SEC reciever. He could play defense but is to scared to hit someone. Or even block at reciever for that matter. I watched him agianst Greenbrier two weeks ago and was not impressed at all. I watched him run routes and he was just jogging. Especially when it was a run play. He only has 3 catches for 48 yards in two games. Those stats right there are not an SEC reciever. I would take travis sikes over Rogers any day he is averaging 118 yards a game. Not to mention 12 catches for 216 yards agianst riverdale who supposedly has the best defense in the state, which they probley do but they still couldnt cover sikes. All in all though i think rogers could play at vandy but no where bigger than that.

Riverdale only put there second team offense for the last possesion. There Defense was in till the last play. The entire starting defense played the whole game. CPA's two fumbles inside the twenty on offense resulted in Touchdowns the next play for riverdale. Other wise it was a six point game. Pretty amazing to see CPA leading 14-13 at one point in the first half as well.

what inning is GP/ USJ GAME ?

I think that there is really only one team that can hang with 9A, that is NCS. They can hang with anybody on any given night when they shoot well. They have great shooters, but when they are off, they can't hang with anyone. I don't think that McEwen will be able to hang with everyone just because they are so one dimentional. They depend on Puckett too much. I see CPA going far becuse they are the most well rounded team in either district.
