  1. Who is their main man...and do they have a bench?
  2. What does anyone know about the Shelbyville Boys?
  3. mixitup, thanks for making my caseabout having a senior which would have added another to the BC rotation. I didn't say previously that BC would have won... they needed that one leader down low with the determination that you speak of to put them in position to win. All those young guys from the past two years are now determined seniors. You and I are preachin' to choir! You're right about the White Station subs when they come in they are close to being the 3rd best 5 in TN...for about 4 years running. Gomab2 says none of White Station's subs average over 3 pts. a game...that doesn't mean anything...those subs are all gamers and ready to go to get it done...(and I think none are under 6'3") just as I hope the BC bench is this year. But.... myspace barisstuck still doesn't have a clue. I'd like to see him (or her) roll out the balls at practice and achieve what Kent Smith has in the past 7-8 years.
  4. mixitup, read the post...last year they didn't have the guy (a senior). Two years ago when Hare and Pickel were sophs. they were defeated in the 1st game of the state tourney by White Station. They had Alphonso Pugh and he didn't average 25 pts. If, he did he wouldn't be at UTC with his other skills. You know players mature and become more knowledgeable about their game as they get older...like Hare, Pickel & Pugh, from their sophmore year till now....their passing, spacing and rebounding is so much stronger....thus, being seniors and having been there several times they should put up a better showing this year. Like I said WV still doesn't have a player or had a player that would give BC big minutes. You're turning "my" words into words for your "pulpit".... which is throwing out numbers and such, not having the foggiest clue of what your talking about. Like I've said, WV has "good" players.
  5. Volunteer318, have you not heard of the old saying about...the Bear in the woods........anywhere he wants! Just kidding. Sounds like to me, there wasn't enough WV people in the section. mixitup & myspace baristuck, I hate to tell you...but, no player on the WV team would have helped BC against White Station in the finals last year. BC needed a senior leader last year that would have been good for 15 pts in the paint and 10 rbds. I haven't seen anyone At WV that could provide such an order. BC now has more than enough seniors that know what it takes (look @ the teams they have beaten this year in state and out). I think this year that Suiter, Nipper, Hobbs, Pugh and the rest of the team can get it done inside the paint. WV has good players...some chose to go to WV because they knew their playing time @ BC would be minimal.
  6. Charles Little... Cleveland....can get up. He reminds me of some of "old School" guys from the early 80's....legends Victor Boykins, Keith Rawls and Kelvin Elston...now those guys could hang and throw down like no others in the Chatt. area.
  7. According to the strength of schedule rankings on this site...the Rutledge schedule is #81 in AA. There are probably several dous ahead of the boys from Rutledge. But we all have our opinions. Does east tn end @ knoxville?
  8. Corey Pugh Bradley Central He's the stopper @ all five positions. He loves a challenge.
  9. That was the "real" notorious O.P.P. (Opperman) wasn't it? I remember back around the New Year someone stole his identity or his coacht password and was saying White Station in a landslide and that they were the greatest thing since sliced bread. I need confirmation that this is the original Notorious Opperman. WS is a great team.....but I think some eyes are going to be opened @ tourney time. Those two teams are the best in any class hands down. Question is...if they meet again does BC win again? YES.
  10. stayNskool... We'll make room for them.
  11. Corey Pugh Bradley Justin Hare Bradley Kellen Pickel Bradley Zach Hyatt Rhea Tim Cooper Rhea Jay Davis Cleveland Charles Little Cleveland JaJuan Smith McMinn Merriman Chatt. Central Courtney White Ooltewah Benning ? Brainerd
  12. Gomab2...What is the reason for the loss of WS's Jonathan Ball? You saying "they're were not deep to begin with"...you're kidding, right? How many teams can sub 5 @ a time and almost be as good the starting 5. WS's first ten players can all at least play JUCO if they want. How many teams can say that? They might have 2-3 going Ivy League...having smart players certainly is not a disadvantage.
  13. In 2004... 1. Memphis 2. Chatt 3. Nashvegas
  14. That was funny DO but, raider2 is probably right about you. Little does his thing...what about the other Blue Raiders steppin up. I would like to see Little improve in the finer points of the game. His ability and potential can take him places but, is he willing to put the time in. I think the BC seniors have put the time in over the years and it's paying off bigtime this year. The BC passing is like watching the Lakers & Celtics from the 80's. The atmosphere for the girls and boys will be great. I think the lady raiders might take the girls and the Bears impressing the Cleveland crowd w/ an 18 pt. win.
  15. Kent Smith @ Bradley Central hasn't lost in TN this year. He has maintained an excellent program over the last 7-8 years. Just because BC returned the starters intact doesn't mean it's easy. I would say he has done some oustanding coaching getting the team ready to go... and with the schedule they have played. It seems the starters and those off the bench are dedicated to the TEAM concept.
