  1. McKenzie doesn't have a win against a winning team this year and this week won't be any different for the Rebels. Sorry but you need to let this topic die down now.
  2. Huntingdon pulled out the game late by the score of 8-6.. Burke goes 6-0 on the year and the Mustangs improve to 23-3. Big showdown next week against McKenzie.
  3. Tonight at Huntingdon. The Bruceton Tigers traveled to Huntingdon for another district ballgame. Jarett Watson started the game for the Tigers while Spencer Clifft had the call for the Mustangs. Watson got into trouble early on and the Mustangs jumped out to a early lead. The bats stayed hot for the Mustangs and Clifft improved to 5-1 on the season to get the win by a score of 12-0. The Mustangs improve to 22-3 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Dresden later in the week to take on the Lions. Good to see the fans at the ballgame tonight. The guys really like seeing the support they are getting.
  4. Started off this week win a district win over Bruceton. Bruceton Tigers put Stepp on the mound while the Huntingdon Mustangs had Crocker. A close game up until late in the game when the Mustangs opened up and produced 10 run the finish the game in 6 innings. Mustangs improve to 21-3 the yr. Next game is Tue. 17th at Huntingdon at 7:00 vs. Bruceton. Come out and enjoy a evening of watching baseball and support the Mustangs.

  6. Another windy and cold day for Baseball. Huntingdon Mustangs took on the Milan Bulldogs. Milan jumped out in front 2-0 early on. Huntingdon answered with a solo HR. by Clifft. Then tied it up in the 5th. Milan hit a 2 run homer in the 6th and Huntingdon had bases loaded up in the 7th and couldn't pull this on out. Milan got the win 5-4 Cody Crocker was on the mound for the Mustangs.. He is now 4-1 on the year. Huntingdon drops to 18-3 Thursday........ At Big Sandy Double Header Friday ............At Henry County
  7. Lexington has a hole in there line-up. Got to get a stronger bat in the 2 slot.. Pitching is going to be a issue come play off time. If they do make it to the Murf. I see them having trouble. But who knows right now. Good Luck to the Tigers the rest of the season.
  8. Huntingdon took on Clarksburg at Home today. Spencer Cliift took the Mound for the Mustangs while Matt Simpson was the pitcher for the Rockets. The Mustangs came out hot and was ahead 9-0 when the coach let the subs in. In the Third inning the young guys had build on the lead to a advantage of 14-0. Late in the game Clifft gave up a second walk of the game and after three pass balls the only run the Rockets could muster came across the home plate. Colton Dill and Brayden Baxter went off the wall. Good job guys. The Mustangs win 14-1 to improve to 18-2....Clifft got a No-No. Next Huntingdon vs. Milan Bulldogs at Home @ 4:00
  9. In the fianls of the ESPN Classic today in Huntingdon. The Mustangs took on the Adamsville Cardinals. Cole McAdams took the mound and pitched all 7 innings. The Cold and wind was a problem for both teams as the balls hit high in the air was just like a can of corn waiting for the players to get under it and catch it. Huntingdon jumped out early with 2 runs in the first and got 3 more in the next 6 to pull out the win ( 5-2) The fans came out for the final game as the food was very good all weekend long and the corn dogs hit the spot. Thanks to Tim Carter and family on the corn dogs. ESPN Champs.............. Way to go GUYS Next the Mustangs take on Clarksburg in a district game in Huntingdon. Monday at 6:00
  10. Huntingdon Mustangs took on Adamsville Cardinals in the finals of the ESPN Classic. The Mustangs put the ball into play when needed to get a 5-2 win. Cole McAdams was the winning pitcher. Drew Martin got the ( L ) Mustangs improve to 17-2 on the year while Adamsville is 14-5
  11. Coach EuBanks has the Mustangs doing well. The whole lineup is seeing the ball real well out of the pitchers hand. Two district games then the ESPN Tournament at Huntingdon this weekend. I hope the weather is good. 12-2 on the year. Outstanding Perfomance Guys.
  12. If you play together as a team you will win together as a team. Not one player does it by themselves. Clifft,Burke,McAdams,Crocker,Dill and the underclassmen must pitch well for this team to win. They all know their part and have started off the season very well at this point. ( Keep playing hard guys. )
  13. McKenzie will do fine this year. Show respect for these players. Be glad that they can even go out on the field. Sometimes I have to remind myself of this also.
  14. The Huntingdon Mustangs made a trip over into Middle Tn. to vs. 3-A Hickman Co. The bats got hot late in the game with Back to Back Dings from Brayden Baxter and one from Cole McAdam. Colton Dill and Lucas Dill had a 2B with Clifft getting a 3B. Spencer Clifft got the win and Cody Crocker closed the door in the 7th. Got out with a 8-3 win to improve to 4-1 on the season. Baxter went 2-3
  15. Dresden is a 1-A Team not a 2-A team Is the whole McKenzie Schedule on CoachT? If you can update it. The only 2-A teams McKenzie plays are Crockett Co.Lexington and Jax. South Side with a game against 3-A Henry Co. Good Luck to Reeder this season. Good to see him getting some playing time.
  16. If I were a high school baseball coach, I'd disband the team at the end of the high school season and have tryouts in the fall every year to see who is on the team. Can the TSSAA legislate players that may or may not be on the team the next year? How would they know? This would work.

  21. Clifft will be on the mound to start the game for Huntingdon. Game time is 5:00 with a jv game to follow. Pretty hard week for the Mustangs. 03/12...Hardin Co. 03/15...Milan 03/16...Covington 03/17...Dyer Co.
