COLTON SPEED.......Union City So far in this yrs. season colton speed has 1,218 yard rushing with a 8.2 avg. and 21 TD's and 541 passing with 5 more Td's ( 26 Td's ) 1259 total offensive yrd. 4 int's I've know this young man since he was 12 yr. old Very talented young man. He has help his team and their program this yr. Who cares what others have done on the past yrs. This yr is what counts and his stats with the help of his teammates have put them on top in west TN.

your team must have gotten beat thats why you are mad about spending your money to watch your child play at the STATE. Alot of team and parents don't even know or will ever get to know to thrills your are enjoying this week. Just cut back on the extra packs of cigs or cut back on one six pack and you have the $5 buck you are upset about.

Good win by the MUSTANGS today. Got to win 1 of 2 to play for gold.

I heard Coach Dyer might be looking for a new job after making the USJ players pull off their jerseys and hats after the game and leave them on the field and told them to leave. Shame on him

Will is a fine young man. Good luck to the bolivar Tigers and remember Clint Barnes. Clint might be the best players in the state that is being over looked. He hasn't signed yet so what ever college gets him will get a fine ball player. Good Luck to them at state. Oh yeah. ( Shame on Kessler for not giving more money to this team for Travel and Hotels )

I think it is the best think going. To see my son play and get a chance to win the state is great. I would pay double.

Congrads to Blake. Bethel's Coaches seem to be getting alot of the local talent unlike some of the other programs in the area. Way to go. I know it's been alot of work and alot of miles to get there. I hope he does well the rest of the 2008 season. Keep working hard and help this years team to STATE. Go Huntingdon Mustangs.

Our Little League team was invited but Lexington declined them also. What a weak Classic.

How many block shoots did Marshall Co. have in the game. Sounded like quit a bit just in the 4th qt. Milan couldn't get off a 3 point shot.

It's a Milan thing. Always whining. Football,Baseball now Basketball. But I hope they do win for a team from the West can get the Gold.

After seeing who Manassas has played I will take them. I saw Union City play Bradford back in Jan. Not too impressed. bradford had a good game plan until the 4th. I take Manassas in class A

There isn't a rule on this. If the kid doesn't want to play for whatever reason then he/she has picked the sport that he/she wants to get better at. Like some kids trying to practice baseball and there being spring football. You don't see fall baseball while there is football going on. Having spring football is a waste of time and baseball players might get hurt during the drills so it take them away from baseball. Thats what the football coaches want. Not for them to get hurt but to pull them away from the baseball and keep there minds on the sport that they coach.

UC plays with alot of talent. Strong bench. Bradford had a good game plan but came up short late in the game. Had a good run to get within 4 points in the 4th. Coach from UC got a ( BIG T )and his team responded after a time out to get the win.

I hope this is a wake up call to the private schools and maybe thay will jump over to D-II were they belong. Stop crying about the multiplier rule. It was taken advantaged of for to many years and now the TSSAA has set the rule for now so either move to D-II or get ready for the public schools to keep winning the Gold. Congrads to all of the schools that made to the Boro and it looks like Middle and East Tennessee FootbaLL is for real. West TN. FB looks very weak on Paper. Only 5 Champs in last 15 or 20 yrs. Thats Bad. Wake up west Tn. Coaches and fans and relize that if you make it to the show it's really going to be hard to win the final game.

I guess the refs ran the ball on the long TD right before the Half and the ref ran the ball up the middle for 4,5,6,7 and 8 yards all night. You can't let a team get on top and come back. Also on McNairy first TD it was somethings like only 3 or 4 plays and a score. They were running the ball with the little running back. What's that all about? What happened to that game plan? It was working and they got away from it. Late in the 2nd the ball was on the ground and the ref said his Knee was on the ground before the fumble. Also late in the 4th a late hit against McNairy... I done think that is why McNairy got beat..It was the inside game of South Side and the big running back that the Hawks have. Good game by both teams. I think South Side was ready for the game and it showed from the start to the finish. The refs keep the game going and under control. Also wasn't there a questionable call of a block in the back on a TD run by SouthSide that got called in the first Half. That went McNairy way so done blame your loss on the REFS. moonpie33, In football the guys in stripes are Referee's and in Baseball the guy's that call the game is a UMPIRE.

Looks like it's going to rain tonight. The team with the best running game wins this game.

Well the quaterback might have passed for alot of yards against Trinity but I heard that he also got sacked 10 times. Now the 2A schedule starts and if the d-line can't stop the push on the line then Hardegree will be in trouble not only against Humboldt but most of the 2A teams.
