  1. This was a bloodbath...McCallie just boatraced Baylor 42-7. Didn't see that coming. GBB!
  2. Fiancee is a Mountain City girl, so I'm gonna have to say Longhorns. 28-21
  3. In DII play, McCallie has gone 1-10 against MBA I believe (including playoff games)? They've just seemed to have our number in years past, the only exception being McCallie's 2001 championship season. This year however, I think McCallie posts their second DII victory over MBA by at least two touchdowns.
  4. I say keep it the Super Seven...doesn't the Big 10 have 11 teams? ...and there will always be a team that cant compete with the rest
  5. I was on the freshman football team with Matt Keaton at McCallie...I'd forgotten that guy. Good athlete, played fullback if I remember, but Campbell Thomas ended up better. What'd he end up playing at Ooltewah?
  6. Hey man, pass it over...you cant keep stuff that good to yourself. (PS- next time, be sure to include the team that beat your number 3 team)
  7. Caldwell got hurt? What happened?
  8. Tell us how you really feel, RebelRaider...no, really, dont hold back
  9. With the MBA loss tonight, what are the possibilities for seeding? I assume MBA, MUS, or McCallie will get the top spot, but how?
  10. Maryville is danged good, but I dont think that you would expect a score like this if they played again. Not that it couldn't happen again, but I think Central got hit in the mouth early and instead of bouncing back, they just stayed on their backsides. Maryville takes this game almost every time, but the performance tonight was something special.
  11. Good, old fanshioned trip to the woodshed. Congrats Rebels, that's quite a performance.
  12. I honestly think that it had more to do with the Baylor game last week. Since I was a student at McCallie, we've always come out flat following the Baylor game. So much energy is put into that game by everyone, players, coaches, fans, that it is hard to get up for the game that follows. I said it would happen earlier this week on a thread and it did. Luckily McCallie was able to get it together in the second half. (That said, I'm sure the CBHS loss to Ryan didn't help McCallie's phyche either)
  13. Christian Bros went into halftime with a 14-6 lead but the Tornadoes came out fighting and scored 24 unanswered points for a 30-14 victory. Congrats McCallie!
  14. I know what Potter will say, and he's right, but a coach can only do so much. It is ultimately up to the athletes whether or not they come to play or they come with their minds not fully on the game. Its a team sport, and it only takes one to bust a play. This said, I think McCallie will win, but I think it will be very close.
