After Brooke's performance last night against Sevier County (32 points with 2-3 players guarding her) i dont know what you guys could be thinkin...

that was probably the most nervous ive ever been in my life, and that was the greatest basketball game ive seen...ever!! even when we played heritge, it wasnt that close. i agree, one team had to LOSE and it just so happened to be us. yeah, i most definitley didnt agree with a lot of the calls but that doesnt change the out come of the game...if we actually hit all or most of our foul shots, we would have won, but we had a hard time with that at some points. i find it kinda flattering to know that sevier county could get that excited at the end of a game to the point where they ran on the court screaming and throwin the ball up in the air and everything else cause they beat 'AA Seymour.' it's awesome to have respect like that and i have no doubt that Seymour will be in the state championships. Congrats to Sevier county for an awesome game and hope to be cheering for eachother again in murphreesboro this year!!

Wow, i dont know where you got your information, but there is NO problems within our team!! we are the closest bunch and we encourage eachother off and on the court...we're like sisters and we've never been closer than we are now cause there were some comments made about our team and one of our players recently from a coach no less...that just makes us come together more and strive to show other people what we're made of. like i said before, close game but Seymour on top by 3 in the end...

In the past, Seymour has been scared to play good, solid teams like Sevier County and Heritage, but since we've shown ourselves that it can be done, i think our confidence has risen tremendously....dont look for Seymour to come out timid anymore cause we'll be ready. however, i have no doubt that sevier county will be out for revenge , stoping the two automatic seniors is gonna be tough. very, very close, but with the gain of self confidence i'm going with the lady eagles of Seymour by 3. 58-55

Of course Hall has a better 3 pt. percentage, she's a guard!! and even if she had a higher steal percentage...again...she's a guard, they usually do... AA- Brooke Johnson AAA- Cait McMahann

hmm, as much as i enjoy this little rumble we're having over what someone said, can we get back to the topic?? i AM from Seymour and i'm not saying anything about beating everybody or no one can beat us cause as soon as you get that mentality, some one (who may not even be a good team) will come and ground you again. our team is just focusing on one game at a time...

Wow, it's awesome to finally get the recognition that we have been working so hard for the last couple of years. Nobody has ever given us props for our talent and after a while it gets annoying. I agree, dont count your chickens before they hatch, but dont count Seymour out of the state finals either...

This was a huge win for us!! I am so proud of our girls!! Our assistant coach, Dennis Berrier, was diagnosed with cancer last year and he seems to be so much happier when he's around basketball. Before the game we thought about him a lot and how it would make him so proud if we beat Heritage, and i think that's what pushed us so much. We love coach berrier sooo much and we cant even express that through something as small as a win against a good AAA team. Thanks Big D for all youve done for us, and as a senior, i know that i'll never forget you and what youve done for this team. Youre my inspiration and i'm sure that everyone else feels the same!! love yah!! #41

Coach Randy Moore of Seymour has to be thrown into the picture whether he is the best or not...he coaches the girls and guys and has sent each of the teams to the state semifinals in the past 3 years...he an awesome guy with a huge heart and we love him!!

Wow! that is a first!! I have never heard anyone say that Brooke was too aggressive! i know people half her size on her own team that are more aggressive than her and i know for a fact that her coaches have been encouraging her to get a little mean sometimes. Some people are just born more aggressive and others you just have to teach it to them...but i guess if youre as tall and talented as Brooke it doesnt really matter now does it?? yay, congrats again Seymour and i'm sure we'll ready for an even tougher game at SC house next time!!

I was just wondering what you guys thought of Seymour's win over Sevier County last night 43-33?? Also, should there be a change in the polls concerning Seymour and SC??

Congrats Lady Eagles!! Seymour is definitely heading towards middle tennessee this year! also, i think Brooke Johnson should be miss basketball this year in AA

i think seymour DOES deserve to be that high up...people dont give them enough reapect, but they work just as hard if not harder than everyone else out there. ya'll are talkin about teams like OS, but they got their butts handed to them byt Seymour by like 12 or 15 points...

My vote is hands down Cait McMahan! even though she is the star of our school's biggest rival, i respect what she can do out there....every time we play her team, there are always recruiters out there. Last time we played them, there were two from Pat Summit's Lady Vols. congrats on an awesome start Cait...keep it up!

I agree with trojanbob, i'm one of the captains on my team and one night a ref told us before the game, "if you promise to never miss a shot, i'll promise never miss a call..." everyone makes mistakes, it just so happens that refs have maybe 100 or more people that dont like it because theyre on or for the opposing team. As fans it just comes naturally to want everything to go in our favor and i dont think refs are too stupid to understand that....lets just try and remember that it's just a game and a couple weeks from then, you wont even remember that they made that call

Look, all i'm saying is dont count Seymour out, they have a deep bench with lots of heart and talent, and a tough coach that knows what hes doing. in the past four years, he's sent his boys and girls bball teams to the state semifinals...you said dont live in the past but you cant compete with history

True, Sade, youre a great offensive player but if you want a lot of playing time in college and if you dont want a rude awakening when you get there, you might want to work on your attitude a little....i saw you get technicals two games in a row and then have to sit out most of the rest of the game...that cant help you or your stats at all...just a thought...

What about Seymour?? They still have everyone AND they beat Livingston last year in the first round...
