The wayne co fans have got to be some of the best around. Standing up the entire game is now pretty much an unwritten rule. Dressing up? Not required but happens alot. Going crazy? Never fails. We've got one of the best around by far. Many schools have tried to compete but when it comes down to it our student section is pulling out a win along with our basketball team.

Our mascot is a wildcat so weve thought of the Wildcat Wackies

Ive noticed that many schools have names for their student sections and if uve been to a wayne co game you have probably noticed how we have livened up and i think we need a name. How bout a lil help? Tell me some names you think would be good and i also wanna know some of your fav student section names.

WOW! What a game. This was an unbelievable game if you went to this game you definately got your moneys worth. But if you didnt you really missed out on a great game. Clifton came out playing great and i too thought they were going to steal a win. But in the end the best team came to play and wayne co left the home of the riverrats with a win. Go Wayne Co. Thats crazy bob. How can you say that a AA team should always beat a A team? Thats nowhere near true. Just beacuse a school has less or more students doesnt make them any weaker or stronger than any other team. Its all about a team that wants to win along with a good coach and talented players. If you have these things it doesnt matter about A or AA. I personally think wayne co has pretty much all of these things and they feel pretty good. So we will see how it turns out monday.

oh but yes we broke out the overrated chant there was no doubt about it that we would do it especially with the way we beat them and it was really funny because our crowd went crazy the entire game but we only heard one cheer out of there fans and that was when one of our players fouled in the first quarter. but the wildcats played a great game and they really did something that i think if they would do every game they could not be stopped and thats pull away in the first quarter as they did great game cats but lets keep it up and dont look back vikingpride i wouldnt speak so soon we all know that mt pleasant is definately capable of beating any team in the district as all 4 of the top teams are right now and come tourney time you never know what could happen

i will have to say great game to the cats they played great proud of you men you took down the supposedly number 3 team in the state which should drop them and move us some great job

its great i think its awesome for students to do it. the team see that they are getting there schools support and most other people love it also i know our principal loves when we get into the game and show our support theres nothing he likes more. and its alos fun to do it and when some people do it they more get into it and the next thing u know everyone is in on it and everyones having a good time so i say keep it up

haha thats very funny mphstigerfan. Almost a knee slapper . I tell you what all these teams and other people talking about wayne and their players. Well you know what it gets old after a while. How can we help if somebody wanted to move here or not. And to play ball or not. I dont think thats any of your business. In fact its noones business except for that person their family and the coaches. So lets let if go. How bout it?

Ill have to agree Mosley is one of the best hustlers in the game. But yes he does stay in foul trouble because the refs dont let him play but he is definately a great player to watch. One of the best hustlers around. Hes always all over the floor when he needs to be and doing the things that he should be doing. He may not be the most impressive or bets shooter and he for sure isnt a player that outshines anyone else but hes can still play ball. My vote would probably have to go to this guy. I havent seen anyone in a while that played like he did.

ok ok yeah pc did beat wayne friday night but when the fouls are as bad as they were friday night i mean what was it like 10-2 in fouls with wayne with 10 but they still held the lead for a long time and u also have to admit that pc didnt hold very well at the end because they were up to 10 at one time but couldnt finish that and let wayne back in it and if he hadnt toook so long it wouldve been alot closer and wayne might have came up with a win but its over now and who cares u beat us whoopty doo i wouldnt brag too much because it doesnt count as much right now as it will when tourney time comes around so u better get ready for a real battle if u have to meet us again and i think u had better watch out for stown because that is a battle for second in the district whoever wins will take second to themselves

what r u talking about? SALARY CAP? we are still talkin HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL right? last time i checked ther was no salary cap there i think it as his decision on why he wanted to leave and if u wanna know whay donr u ask him instead of writing dumb crap like that

well i know a couple of guys that played last year for cwood including bryant and a couple more and they lost a few good players that really helped them last year because of coaches these guys said they didnt like the coach and im not talking about bryant i have no clue on why he came to wayne but it was a great move for us hes a great guy and baller

i have to agree coach franks is one of the best coaches around like many people have siad in the thread he does get alot out of his players because hes a cool guy with his players he can be one of the biggest jokers but can also be one of the most serious men but all his players love him and he loves all his players i would and as far as recruiting goes theres none of that here were not one of these private schools that does that junk were a public school that let people come to us and thats what bryant did that was his choice and we all know that it had to of been a very hard decision for him but what a great one it was hes adjusted well got lots of friends and i think he looks better in the black and gold instead of that sickening green and yellow

yeah congrats to byrd and the rest of the cats on there win they played a pretty good game ill have to say franks is right ur still pretty ugly but congrats anyway man speaking of 1000 pts does anyone know how many york needs to get there

Same here Jellyrolls and GCHSMob7 we have the same problem with our freshman and im a junior myself and i would have to say we are probably the best class when it comes to cheering and getting crazy with it we may not have a very big student section but we still get down over here in wayne co

You cant say you wouldve won by more goldenboy because u have no clue what might have happened if that guy played so dont be saying that crap because as i recall you did only win by a last second shot

i would have to agree about the refs they are horrible and it seems like they get worse everyear i mean what does it take now to be a tssaa ref if u can run and blow a whistle u can be one i guess because it seems like that at times and more than less but dont get me wrong there are quite a few good refs out there but where i dont know sometimes i know in football they were very bad this year soccer the last two year they have been horendous and so far this basketball season they have been very bad also one of our guys got a T for trying to block a guys shot and hitting the backboard on accident then another guy gets run over on what shouldve been a charge and hops up and down when the block is called not even doing anythign and he also gets T'ed up so i say either have a clinic for all these refs or tell them to think about the technical fouls they are calling

ok ok i know both these teams pretty well and so heres my prediction for tonight it will be a high scoring game for a h.s. game going into one overtime with wayne co winning by 4 pts at the end of that o.t.

As far as weak goes the wildcats are not very weak at all they are a pretty strong team if u ask me and will be the team to beat for the rest of the year and as far as lewis co goes i would have to say if it wasnt for sparkman that they would not be a very strong team at all and probably wouldnt be playing and winning like they are.
