The above bold sentence (by you) just made my point because anything can happen between teams on the field!! Apparently you don't watch College or the NFL and I will leave it there (stats, rankings, etc don't matter sometimes). Ask Clemson, Florida State,etc. I am done with this topic.

Wow.. opponents winning %, comparing common scores and stats. I am so happy that they don't play on paper (lol). Things happen in games that are tough and every year is different!! I am sure Bledsoe isn't making excuses about injured players as Tyner probably won't be 100% but you line-up and play ball.

The opponents of Marion(9-10) and Meigs (13-13) aren't exactly "world beaters" either!! Until you play a team on the field, and see the matchups you never know what the outcome will be. The game against Bledsoe this Friday should show where Tyner is in the Region. Playing at Marion and at Meigs will be tough and hopefully the kids are healthy!!

@Bledsoebtheboys you making the trip to Tyner on Friday? Are the defending 3-2A champs healthy? Last Friday Tyner had a few to leave the field injured and hopefully none of them were serious!!

Great to hear from you, Yeti !! I've been reading a lot of comments on here but just hadn't responded. Meigs is doing great as usual and I think our Region is one of the toughest in the state!

Wanted to take a different approach to the games this year and comment after they are played. Coach mentioned in the paper that the kids need to come out with a "killer instinct" in the 3rd quarter. I agree and I also think that this game with Bledsoe will define each teams season!! Tyner has a good Defense and are balanced on Offense. It should be a close game from beginning to end so we shall see.

Tyner will continue to be in AA(as far as I know). Any other 8AA teams moving up(or down)?? The last 10-12 years have been good competition between 8AA and 6AA. Too bad the Districts are too far from each other to schedule home and home games!!

After Thursday night looks like it's 8AA vs 6AA in the SubState. Same teams different year and maybe different teams hosting!! It's one game at a time at this point of the season!! Praying that all the kids stay safe and healthy!!

Can 8AA sweep 7AA in the Region?? I think Grundy Co will be the exception. The road to the "State" starts tomorrow!!
