Hey Greeneville fans. I've heard your rising freshman are a tough group, with Ballard's boy at QB, going undefeated in ms. What about the rising seniors, juniors, and sophomores? Yall should start one on this. I for one am just not ready for round ball. South will be rebuilding from what I hear. How will the 2015 Devils look?

Somebody talk about the rising senior, junior, and sophomore Rebels.

SEC, I went and saw Colonial play Rogersville this year. A buddy's son was a 7th grade and said they'd be challenged by the Rville RB. Not a close game. Yes, the Chargers went undefeated and are a big, athletic group. The qb is small but had a gun. Impressive for a middle school kid. Big line, big good LBs. The two TEs look like varsity players in size. One (calling him mason ?) caught everything near him. The other someone said was the brother of former South WR and sprinter, Waterson. They had a shifty rb too. If this group can stay together and maybe add a couple more in HS, they'll be tough. BUT guys, that's in like 3 years. Anything could happen by then. South may be closed or completely annexed by Kingsport (like all the revenue producers were annexed.)

Radio man said South dropped pass on Fulton 10, turned over on downs. Fulton scores on 65 yard bomb. That's basically a 14 point swing. Come on Rebels!

Honestly blazer1set, 6A football has always ran through Murlvill. So, I haven't a clue about the West's representative in the Blue Cross Bowl. It sure would be nice to see a NET team actually in the Bowl, with a fighter's chance.

Straight Answer: Most 6A, and state, want Science Hill to upset Maryville. Not that they are FOR SHHS. People tend to pull for underdogs and many people want a shot at the 6A gold ball in the future. Their hope, is that Maryville will drop off some and the gold balls will get spread around a bit. Selfish Rebels. I think most folks in NET would tell you that they pull for all local teams to win. I.E. the Toppers and the South Rebels over at Fulton. Even the DB folks. I consider NET to be Mountain City to Morristown. Put that shoe on the other foot: Yes, some folks in NET would be pulling for DB, if they were playing Maryville Friday. But many, dare I say, most folks in NET are for their home team and whoever is playing DB. No malice on my part here; it's simply the truth. Majority of folks don't like DB.
