McCallie has some payback from last year vs Ryan. I'm excited to watch the H'ville/Baylor game. Should be a good one.

How do the games for this week (Oct. 15) look? Baylor vs. Hendersonville- H. is a tough team that is having a good year. Baylor is coming off an open date and has something to prove. Knox Catholic vs JP2- KC has to redeem themselves for a couple of poor outings. JP2 is playing for a possible higher seed. McC vs Father Ryan- The obvious tilt goes to McC, but FR did beat them last season. Could FR do it again? MBA is off BA is off MUS vs CBHS- Rivalry game. Could be interesting. Briarcrest is off Ensworth is off Thoughts?

Seems Ensworth is their own worst enemy. Can beat the average teams, but when it comes down to it, handling adversity in a high tense atmosphere - they can't handle. That many PF penalties is a direct result of coaches allowing it to happen.

CCS is a complete dumpster fire. Say what you will about Mariakis, but he isn't getting the job done. Even with some talented individual players, the TEAM is atrocious.

What's the word on the campus of BA? Getting shutout by MBA. Don't know how the playoffs work, but are they in peril about not making the playoffs?

Why are BA players transferring?

Can't remember the last time MBA has struggled with the beginning part of the season. Granted, they have had a tough first 4 games, but this is an uncommon happening.

GOOD! Cookeville is a dump and the players and fans deserve better.

A dominating performance from McCallie for the second year in a row. MUS looked outmatched early on (at least it looked that way on TV). LouPickney- what's to be said for MUS throwing 5 picks? McCallie nearly set a record.

Thoughts on MUS vs McCallie? Strengths/Weaknesses?

It is a surprise- not that Mccallie won, but BA got outplayed. Don't know much about MUS. They can put up some points- look at their games vs. FR and MBA. Should be another fun one in cookeville .

Do you support the way he treats players? Do you support the language he and his staff uses toward players? My cousin shared with me some of the things he was saying to the players at halftime.

As long as Bowers is involved at Ensworth, they will place their emphasis on sports. IF they happen to have those that are academically talented, well, that's just a bonus. Their mission is on athletics. Baylor and Mccallie... there mission is more of an academic nature. But, you're right. It's no IMG, but they could make a significant splash in a few selected sports. Much like Notre Dame (South Bend variety), if students don't measure up in the classroom, they ain't going.

Interested to see the outcome of the KC/Baylor game Friday night. With the last three games on Baylor's schedule being brutal, they could go 0-3. Anyone know the "what if's" for the last 3 weeks and the playoff implications? Could this be the year that BA won't make the playoffs? Could Baylor miss the playoffs if they lost the last 3 games?
