It looked like Antioch got to the loose balls faster than Central especially in the 4th which gave Antioch a few extra possessions to work with. The officiating was inconsistent but not to blame the game on them. #10 played an outstanding game hitting bigtime shots. No matter how good a team is you also need a little luck in pursuing a State Title and tonight the luck went towards Antioch. Congrats to the WC seniors for the career they had! Wish they could of ended it with another Championship but nothing at all to be ashamed of. Keep your heads up! Thanks for calling me a Genious! Central by 15. Antioch will keep it close til about the middle of the 3rd and Central pulls away. Too much strength inside for Antioch to handle. This is the 4th straight Sub-State appearance for the Seniors so experience will play a key role.

Congrats to WC. Dawn Evans (a.k.a Chris Lofton) put on one incredible performance. Good adjustment made in the 4th to force other NE players to have to step up which didn't happen. One of the best games of the year. Post players for WC dominated the whole game. Congrats to coaching staff and players- well played!

If my memory serves me correctly which most of the time it does, doesn't Wilson Central carry a 6-1 post-season record vs. Mount Juliet since WC opened its doors in 2001. So, maybe, just MAYBE, I would have to give Bud the edge on Fryer whether people like it or not. History shows that when the going gets tough, MJ has struggled. Even the year they (MJ) won the State, Central got the best of them when given the opportunity to a MJ team who was Nationally ranked #2 rising to #1 on the night they lost to Central. So if its me and I go by proven stats on paper, the edge goes to WC. If someone argues with that, well, then you must be really stubborn.

Congrats to the Wildcats for the exciting win over LaVergne last night. The Wildcats determination and buying into Coach Bond and coaching staffs' system is paying off. They simply wanted it more than the teams that they beat by playing with more pride and heart. Coming back from being down 28-11 and winning by a last second shot says a lot for a team that doesn't have ANY seniors on Bond's squad. LaVergne can make excuses as far as referee's made poor calls, etc....., but they simply got outplayed and outcoached last night for the 9AAA Championship!

sounds like to me you have a kid riding the bench.... if you as a parent or a fan do not attend every practice to see how your child/relative is performing or to see that they are loafing in practice all the time then you don't have room to talk. Unless your there with the player second-by-second and step-4-step I wouldn't be blaming any coach on any team. Maybe the problem is you. Hey, maybe if your that fed up, go to college, get a teaching certificate, and coach a ballteam. Then you can call the plays. BTW, I have no ties to LaVergne I just get fed up when a fan sits up in the stands munching on a twinkie and thinks that they can always solve the problem.
