uhm the outfield did lose eeryone. The way i have seen it is TJ Farmer in center, Jay Courtney in LF and RF is up for grabs i believe. They will struggle some out there. Their solid positions will be SS/2b and catcher with lakin at short, Hargis at 2nd and Spradlen behind the dish. ( he has a gun on him this year ) i'd like to see his time this year to second. looks really quick.

You were 1-4 in the Clinton/Powell predictions. the only one you got right was that powell would win at the first of the game. During you were like"the first to 50 will win", Clinton got that 1. I could say some more but that would damper your parade since you did pick the district correctly except for the consolation game, which i believe i predicted that one right. I dont know if u want any of Fballfever either now. callin him out like that. see ya at the games. and i am sure you will prob change a couple your predictions by tomorrows game times and i prob will too. not set on these just yet. Powell won 11-1 yes but look who they played. Last years team would have probably won 20-0. 6th or 7th is where i see the panthers. no offensive power against good pitching. maybe by hargis lakin and spradlen but other than that......... not too good. They lost too much and they will give some teams a good game but other than that i dont see too many district wins. they will battle with clinton and CC but everyone else could beat them in 5. Maybe i could be wrong but if they dont get a leader out there then it might be a long year. Hope not. 1. halls 2. OR 3. Karns 4. Central 5. Powell/CC 7. Clinton

Lord, given Mocs all this pub, his head is gonna be so big now during the region he will be spitting out predictions every 5 min of the game. lol i will have to hear it all night. But my predictions are: 1.Clinton. This game will come down to who makes the most shots and who makes less turnovers. Prob the best 1st round game. 2.Halls. This one will be close and exciting. It might end up being the best 1st round. Halls has a good game by Borum and Sharpe they will win. Borum's old court. 3. OR. this game should be like the Powell/Heritage. OR wins by 15 or more. Farragut is big inside but OR is just too good with domsic. 4. Powell. Period. Maybe by 20. could be 30. lol no but seriously they win with ease. A 3-AAA sweep. another district tourney it seems. Halls/CLinton- Halls. Powell/OR- Powell. NO bull crap charges at the buzzer this time. Powell/Halls- Powell. Series tied 2-2

the great thing about that game was that neither team's season is over. if that would have been the case i would ahve felt happy for the panthers but horrible for the devils. I love watchin both teams play all year and hopefully they will face off again in the region champ and hopefully powell will win that one too but if not they wont end each others season again. Both teams should make some noise in the region. Hall against maryville will be a battle, and powell and Heritage hopefully wont. Halls against OR or bearden will prob be the best game of the region. Powell against clinton would be a better game than powell and farragut. Powell will beat farragut next time. Good luck to both teams and hopefully another rematch.

i never said that u had to be lights out. i just think it is funny how you get on here and boost yourself up. I agree with you though on Hargis making it. he had a couple of turn overs against Clinton the other night and against them that is dang good. OR had like 7 in under 2 min in the consolation game. He ran his team very well the whole way through the tourney.

well even if he doesnt put up points they can still win. He didnt score much against Clinton and they are a good team. So how is it decided who owns emory road? the last matchup or who has won the most times? because last year we won 2 but lost the last. just wondering on that note. I believe powell comes out and plays well. they should throw a 3-2 zone at halls and stop so much penatration from shrape and if borum or buchanan start hittin get out of it. but hey we will see what Ogan has up his sleeve. On a side note about the halls assistant coach. he must really have a chip on his shoulder about powell becasue he got so pumped and shook his fist at powell win they finally beat us in the regular season. j/w whyt he was like that, i dont thinkk ogan ever did that to them. There is no doubt that both teams will be ready. if htey aren't someone needs to check their pulse. I was thinking the same thing about how 6 guards can outscore 2 or 3 post players, but they really werent that far behind. Give me ward and smith and i bet they score more than cameron and borum or whomever you want to put with sharpe. I agree with Conner being too slow. Addis if he doesnt make some shots he does get down but he can play some defense. ASk Whitt about that. I dont know how many he had but i know addis held him to a lower number than whit usually gets. I am so pumped for this one, gonna be a classic.

Powell wins this one. The halls guards dont out score the powell big men, especially if borum throws up another 0- for god only knows. Hard to out score them when u can't hit a shot. Hargis will be fine with halls fans, they aren't that bad, and plus Powell knows how they can quiet the crowd. Smith is probably the best big man passer but he does make some stupid ones as well. He is tough to stop when he plays full speed. that is probably why he missed so many at the first of the CLinton game because he never plays like that lol. can this kid shoot? or is he one of those guys who just over powers and out jumps everyone. i have heard he is a stud but i wonder if he will make an impact as big as every1 thinks. Buzz needs another shooter to go along with Lofton because Dane is prob the worst pick up Tennessee has made in awhile. He is a turn over machine but if tyler can get him out of the lineup then he is definately a good pick up.

The halls coach said big players step up in big games and i was happy to see the senior Willy Buchanan hit some big 3's. I believe if it wasn't for those big 3's they mihgt not have pulled it out becasue he and Younkin were just lights out, And he had a huge steal at the end of the game that just busted OR's chances. Should be a good 1 Fri. Lee Smith............ gah it is nice to see your head is now out of your you know what. If he plays hard and ward plays hard, no 1 can stop them in this district. i asked a karns alumnist that played last year and he said that shipwash said," i am not going anywhere after this" so i guess he didnt want to play since he wasnt going anywhere. i heard he quit last year as well and coach had to talk him back into it. He could def shoot the rock.

I have heard some complaints on the coach out at CC. I don't know why they have been complaining. i mean they did go to State or substate a couple of yeas ago. I dont think it is the coaches fault that the cougars had a another disappointing season. I think it is the tallent that is comming through there right now. Everyone will have some down years. For instance, Powell baseball is always at the top it seems like but this year it doesnt look good. does this mean they should get rid of their coach? no. Give your coach a chance. He has one of the best defenses if they run it right. Just ponder on that Cougar fans and put yourself in his shoes.

Mocs i disagree with you on Karns winning this 1. Karns beat halls early in the year and they had shipwash. now they dont. and also halls should have won both games. The coach hurt them in the 1st game. Halls will win this one pretty smoothly i think. Maybe by 10 or more. Central has everything they need to beat Powell tonight. I think i have seen the central coach at more Powell games than you mocs lol. He should have a good game plan comming in to this one and if powell is not ready they could be surprised. I think Powell wins this one by 6 again.

to add to mocs30...... Powell was up 25-10 and then Lee Smith and #30 for farragut got in a little scuffle and they were both hit with T's. The ref called it on the Farragut guy 1st and the annoucer called out his T but forgot to annouce Smith and this got the fans in the game adn got Farragut pumped up. Before the T's that place was as quiet as i have ever heard it. Powell dominating and about to run away with it. Nice comeback by the admirals. Powell - Time to step it up and play some ball like you all can. I have given u all some blows these last couple of days but i was just tryin to ###### u off and make u play, but it didnt work and it is up to u all on how u wanna go out. Seniors- as being 1 last year and goin out 1st round, believe me you will remeber that game more than any. play hard and lets make it to region and past that first round in the region we usually go out on.

Karns 3. OR 4. Halls 5.Clinton 6 CC 7. Central Marc i know u dont like where i have your dragons but the way u lost those three big guys and also lost Borum i felt like u all would struggle. And i will admit that i was wrong and want to say congrats on how u and coach lockard used your athletes to make a competitive team.and as u replied to me about coach lockard gettin his credit, i would say he is coach of the year in the district.( i dont know if it has been announced yet)

as being a ref the thing people forget is that we make judgment calls and we are human. Basketball is the worst becasue it happens in a snap and u have to be ready to make the call. the new guys will have a little bit of trouble because it does take time. We all know that some1 will be mad either way. As for the referees calling someone out in the stands, they might want to refrain from that. i am pretty sure our supervisor doesn't want to be getting calls from AD's about such incidents. we are suppose to show sportsmanship even if no1 else shows it. good luck to your respective teams in their tournaments.

here is how i think things might pan out...... CC vs. Central - Central Central vs. Powell- (this one is the scariest matchup for an upset) takin Powell by 1 Halls vs. Karns - Bye bye Beavers- Halls by 10 Powell vs. Clinton - Clinton (same ol story, Clinton gets Powell to turn it over late. A Lockard trademark. Halls vs. OR - OR ( want to go with Halls but i think OR gets it done at home) Powell vs. Halls - Halls with the trifecta on the season.( i dont know how this happens with what Powell has, but if they dont get their heads out of their butts then they might be a spectator after the Central game) Clinton vs. OR - OR by 1 ( could definately go either way) Whitt with and off night, he'll have prob. 25 lol Good Luck to everyone.

Sharpe is not cocky, but he has every right to be if he wants. i mean last year as a freshman he was better than most. I guarded him some last year and i was thinking it was gonna be cake, but i was out of breath after the first 3 min. lol. Good player. Probably gonna be great and if he wants to be like Walsh from FL then have at it big guy. hhsbball12- if u are who i think u are, i heard u shot the crap out of the 3 against Powell. Congrats on that. U and sharp will make a tough duo for years to come. If u are wondering who this is, lets just say i reffed a game or two u played in. (jv) I hope the best for u man, u dont get enough credit for what u do out on the court. is the district at Oak Ridge and the region at Clinton? or is it the other way around? Either way that is big for Clinton being num 2 becasue it will be a big advantage if the region is there. good luck dragons.

i take it that clinton won last nite? congrats to the dragons and good luck to all teams. it looks up for grabs on who is goin to the region. i wouldnt be suprised if the winner of Central and Camp co dont upset powell. Karns/Halls will be a nail biter. i think i will go with Karns in a close one with Fersner throwin up 25 and not letting it be his last game. after that............whoooo anything can happen. should be exciting

and another thing. dont get the girls assistant back into this, even though it is not the same one as last time. i don't know why this would even concern him anyways. but the only thing is, if we can't handle some elses opinion, then stop lookin on coacht. thats what this si amde for and it is not intended to cause controversy outside of coacht. Mocs you keep goin back to the locker room until you are told by the coach not to come. and i love you to death man and i am not doggin you so dont get that from what i am sayin. and i would say that robpride isn't the only one who thinks you shouldnt go back there, but in my opinion, i liked it when you would be hollaring for me out there, lol which was rare. but keep doing what you want and don't let some1 elses opinon ruin your night and or the games for you. If i listened to everyone who said there opinion about what i did on the court and stuff i would have gone insane. so in closing you guys just need to shake it off and get ready for powell/halls at 5:30 and 7. GO POWELL, keep the head up and don't sulk on the loss too bad and get pumped for sat.

orangcrush- i know the rules and have played the game for a while and i know why they do that but i was just making a suggestion. i mean ya i team can beat the no.1 teame very now and then but if they lose to worst team.. then the next time the team plays the no.1 team it might be a blow out. i was just seeing how people would react to it.
