My point abou sad to see it go this way is that people are upset with the coaches and players. I agree we have had a good run and teams have caught up with Shelbyville, nothing else. It will be a good year next year. Its time to move on

I think some are just not happy with things. Some what to back to the good ole days. Our just what to go forward. Its sad to see all this going this way. Some outsiders are going to be happy to see this happen to the Shelbyville Program. But who knows things may not be as bad as it seems

6:30 pm Franklin Co vs Linclon Co - 3rd/4th place 8:00 pm Lawrence Co vs Shelbyville - Championship I knew Linclon Co would give us trouble. They did the same last year at tournament time. They will surprise somebody. Almost got us tonight. The Franklin Co/Lawrence Co game was a little slower than I thought it would be. Now everybody getting the game they wanted. I'm sure Lawrence Co feels third time is going to be it. Just do not over look Shelbyville because I know Shelbyville is not over looking them. It will be a GREAT game. Shelbyville went 12-0 and still people feel that they are just lucky. This Shelbyville team just can not get any respect, with both SCHS/Lawrence only getting two players on the all-district team each. I heard Lawrence fans say that they(SCHS) were lucky most of the tonight. Everybody be safe

I sat directly behind where it happened on the floor and there was NO connection. The LC player had Twilley in a bear hug for a good 2-3 seconds BEFORE the ref blew his whistle. Call a double foul if you must, must ejection was way overboard. Very sloppy calling on both ends of the floor. Keep your heads up Eagles, this can only make you stronger.

There are some real good girls cming up in the program. Congrats to the JV team. The boys game was agianst Franklin Co and Coffee Co boys but I left before it was over

I agree. But have never seen two of these before. Not sure about the girls game but there were 48 fouls called in the boys game.

Well they have ruled and it done. Riverdale is lucky they did not get ban from post season with the info above but if that was the case they would have gotten ban from post season. So it must not have happen or TSSAA could not find any truth to this info. Good Luck Riverdale. They could make a lot of noise in the tournament since all this is done.

That's funny, SCHS and MJ have split for the last two years and didn't play the two years before that and SCHS lost to MJ the year before that. So, how does that equal OWNED? One win? It was a great game by both teams, officials, and the crowd. Experience played well in the end with our seniors, MJ lacking that, but should have it next year. Lawerence Co does have a Great following. So do not bash another school when they do not show up. I felt bad for your boys the other night at Shelbyville. After the girls game most of the student body left. O' I forgot it was a school night. Who know why Columbia student did not show. Boys were ranked at one time Congrats to lady Wildcats. There is an old saying that goes like this: " Its better to be lucky than good in a lot of cases". I think that how it went But I did not know there was a lot of talk about Shelbyville. A lot of people felt that when last class left they would be in the middle of the district. Lost their 6'4" senior and their point guard that been starting all four years. Shelbyville won again tonight 54-49. Without Graves and Whorley got some good fouls on the Mt Juliet players. Ceny Phelps did her thing 6 threes. Dawson was sick and played like a real trooper. Buchanan played awsome. Was second leading score tonight. Shan Scott got some big boards tonight. Boy they could go to state in this type of play. People in their district keep counting them out but they keep pushing on. Congrats ladies

Well that may be so. If Coach B feels that way he will sit her as long as they win. Plus I think she would rather win than play if that what the team needed. But she has to many turnovers and can not shoot. But Hay I'm not the coach. Buchanan has good blood in her. Her cousin plays for UT. Tullahoma let her go because she wanted to play other sports. Whorley is a team players she does what she is asked plus she has a knee problem that she is fighting thru. But all this will be settled in by District Tournament

THat tough on any young person to lose someone that means so much to them. We will pray for all of them.

Well lets get back on track. Can Shelbyville say they had trouble at first because they were missing Graves their point guard? Graves keeps the Eaglettes calm during tough times. But her backup player did a great job last night. She had trouble when LC pressed them but she recovered. Jorydn was tough untill al the sudden they seem to go away from her when they need her the most. She got a lot of rebounds and showed a lot of heart during that time. I'm sure these two will meet again unless somebody slips up in the tournament. Graves should be back by then is what we are being told. Shelbyville Eaglettes keeping like a team!
