The guys finished third at the WB invitational, At Snake Evans and the Cvcc the boys were without there Top three scorers.They have won all the regular season Track meets. I will admit the guys championship will be close! Between Jeff,Cherokee, and West. DEPENDS ON WHO SHOWS UP! The girls on the other hand will have to be West, unless something crazy happens. Way too much depth! The girls finished 2nd at the WB INVITATIONAL, 4th overall at Snake Evans, and only had 1/3 of the team there. 1st at the CVCC and Have won every other meet. GOOD LUCK TO EVERY TEAM AT THE "SHIP".

averagejoe: You do realize by jeff only having a third of their team there on saturday that that only means not enough girls Qualified for the meet. Half our team qualified and THAT is how we beat Jeff. and Red: you know, you keep saying that Jeff will win in conference that it doesn't matter about all the other meets that they are losing in but i mean come on...are they TRYING to lose all these meets just so they can look good at the IMAC? I don't believe so. My vote still stands with West. No team can lose five or six times in the regular season by a considerably large amount of points and then come to conference and blow the other teams away. There is just no chance of that happening unless Jeff purposely is losing the other track meets, which i just can't see them doing. No hard feelings though, you are just confused. That's all.

Morristown West Girls won the meet! Great Job! Ladies! Jamie Holt won Best field. Krysta Kadlitz won Best Sprinter. Alex Frary won Best Distance. The Girls Won 8 of the 18 events. Three second place finishes. Four third place finishes. One fourth place. One sixth place finish.

Scooter would have had a tough time winning at the classic. THE 200 times were scary. Guys were running 21's right and left. I watched the 100 race and mills did not fall at the start. I saw it. Mills did do a good job in the 200. Even she did not run the finals for some reason?

Yeah, West placed first in the shot. 4X 100 relay finished 6th with 51.5, and caroline grigsby placed in triple Jump. Katie Lemarr finished ahead of mills in the 100. How many kids did Jeff place?

Pudding: Courtney Barnett from Sullivan Central threw 42+ as an 8th grader. In 8th grade girls throw a shot-put that is 2 pounds lighter. Of course she was throwing far. In high school girls throw an 8 pound shot as opposed to the 6 pound shot you are referring to. Last Saturday Barnett went to the Vol Track Classic at the University of Tennessee and placed 5th with a throw of 33' 6". First place was by Jamie Holt of Morristown West with a throw of 35' 1 1/2. While she is doing great for a freshman, lets not forget that she isn't in 8th grade anymore, and she is now working on breaking the state record that you are talking about which is around 45 feet, much harder to reach with an 8 pound shot.

Meghan Lyons won the Vol Track Classic in the100 high hurdles. in a time of 15.28 by computer timing. she won the high jump,and would of won the 300 hurdles had she not false started.

He'll get beat by Lamel Earvin from Brainerd. Watch out for the jeffers kid from scott and he s in aa.

This should be a great meet. Excellent sprinters,distance, and field people from all three teams. Any Predictions?
