Anyone know how Sampley from WB did in the AAA Pentathlon?

Well guys, hate to break your little hearts w/ who thinks MHS will win, but WB is gonna take this one! Went and watched the field events and seems that WB won just about everything! Sampley did well in the jumps, and the WB 3200m runner had an outstanding last 50m passing Maryville's Lee! But that's on the girls side. Boys also showed a lot of strength today! Tomorrow will be interesting. I don't know by how much WB is ahead, but maybe this will turn somewhat into a close meet... Doubt it though! Good Luck to All!

So today I was at William Blount watching a high school track meet (first of the year) getting myself prepared for the big County Championship Monday and Tuesday. I was extremely impressed with how well it was run, and how quick it was finished ... since there was a soccer game to follow. But the highlight seemed to be watching the phenomenal Danielle Sampley triple jump I believe it was a 37'0 ... Almost as long as the rest of the guys! I must admit AMAZING! I can't wait to see how well she's going to do the rest of this season and in years to come.!. The rest of the WB and Heritage athletes also performed very well. This year's County Meet should be a good one to watch!

Glad to see WB already sending one athlete to State! I'm sure if Danielle doesn't make it in another event (which I'm sure she will...) Walker or someone else will make the trip to Memphis! Good Luck!

Yes, that is the same girl I am talking about that high jumps. I saw her triple at the UT Vol Track Classic last season. Amazing athlete. She finished second I believe in the State Pentathlon last year behind one of her fellow teammates.
