Portland beat MLK last night 10-1 and, were scheduled to play Springfield, thurs (tonight- rain out) Greenbrier, fri Station Camp. sat. Greenbrier, mon. Agreed, rain rain go away

Portland at SC on Saturday the 30th at 6pm (varsity) JV- 4pm.

Portland loses to DL, their 5th loss in a row. Big week for Portland and Greenbrier to keep home field in the play in game.

I dont know where that is or do I care, but yes then you can make your statement on the field with some class i hope.

How long are going to gripe about ER, you lost, it was a bad beat apparently. GET OVER IT. Who cares if they were/are cocky. District tourneys are around the corner and you can make a statement then without acting like a baby now. And oh yeah you are not over it.......

I think Moreland got a concussion last night at Portland. I hope everything is ok in that regard. I dont think he throughs to second sub 2.0, but he might have been off and the pitcher was slow to the plate, that made it look worse. Congrats on the Vandy signing and I wish NOTHING but the best for a middle TN Boy doing his thing on the D1 level. If anyone knows? please post that his concussion is minor. Good Luck

Portland gave up a big one to Hume Fogg and that will make the battle for 3rd and 4th in the district a great one between Greenbrier and Portland. Station Camp could slide in if either one of these two blow up down the stretch. Any comments on the District Tourney? 1. No one wants to play Hume Fogg in the first round. The lefty (Bowden) is fantastic. 2. SC will also be a tough draw for the home team(looks like PHS or GHS) if they finish fifth, they can beat anyone on any day. 3. Portland and Greenbrier look to be playing one of these two according to finish. 4. Any DL people know how the tourney schedule will be this year, DL will host right?

The forecast does not look good for tommorrows Border War! The Portland Field is under water right now. Times are--- White House/Franklin 9:00 a.m. White House/Greenwood 11:15 a.m. Portland/Franklin 1:30 p.m. Portland/Greenwood 3:45 p.m. All coaches will be contacted ASAP about tommorrow if there are any problems. We will be working on the field tonight to prepare for tommorrow and hoping for no rain. Additionally, The Portland/Greenbrier game has been cancelled today.

Portland squeeked by MLK last night 7-4. Read in the Paper that Greenbrier beat SC 10-5, any details. Portland at Hume Fogg tonight at Seven Oaks Springfield at DL MLK at SC LOOKS LIKE GREEBRIER AND MACON ARE OFF, well, I think Macon is finished with District play with a record of 10-4

Inconsistent is being calm. We have lost a game on balk that wasn't ... ........and yesterday, the JV umpire showed up drunk, not tipsy or buzzing, he was wobbling drunk and smelled like vodka. It was horrible and he was horrible, these were 13,14,15 yr old jv players and they had to see this stuff. Im disapointed as a coach and fan.

What are some official comments on the pitcher (Bowden) from Hume Fogg. There 3 different scouts at Portland last night to watch him (Vandy, DLU, Purdue). According to their coach he has already been offered by Purdue and Tenn Tech. He is pretty good but, has absolutely no help behind him. I think he is 0-3 in the district with an ERA under 2 and approximately 40 K's in those 3 games. Portland won 2-1 on 3 hits and had 10K's Any serious comments. ABO14, I finally figured you out. Yeah but we all saw how Brewer did as a freshman in the SEC. Thats alot more impressive than what your talking about isnt it.

I dont see how that you think tyler is better than Corey. Tyler continues to slip in the rankings while Corey continued to go up the rankings. I also dont see tyler having as much success as corey had this year as a freshman in the SEC. If he does congrats to him but i just dont see it happening.[/b][/b]
