You summed it up pretty well. Mckenzie could be a spoiler. But, if the Lady Lions are up to par, they should be able to handle them. You never know, that's why they play the games. Thursday night should be fun.I wish I could have seen the Big Sandy-West Carroll game. Wonder what happened there? I heard that one of the Big Sandy girls exploded for 41 points. By the look of the score there wasn't a whole lot of defense being played. Still, I thought West Carroll would of won, but that is why they play the game. Just goes to show that you better bring your a game every night.

The Lady Lions played a good game tonight. Defense in the 3rd and 4th quarters was really good. Scored was tied at 28 after three and the lions were able to hit free throws late to extend the lead after being up 6 or 7. If the Lions continue to play good, they should at worst be in a tie for the #1 seed in the district during the regular season. Good job girls!

I was not at the game last night, but I have been around Gleason basketball long enough to know they would not boo one of their own players. Jenna is very good and obviously the other coaches thought so too. Please, someone from Gleason tell me that the above post is not true. I just can't bring myself to believe it. I am assuming that he/she is not a Gleason resident.

OHHH, man where has TOP DOLLAR gone. This topic was giving me some good laughs. Please, Please Top Dollar keep telling us of the glory days. I love talking about beating palmersville, West Carroll, Gleason and such. No disrespect to those teams, but I think they would agree that they are not Lake Co., Humboldt, or Union City. There was no doubt. I am not from Gleason, but can tell you with no hesitation they were the best team in the state. I saw them play several times and as 10teamdistrict said, when they get a lead on you in the 4th quarter go ahead and chalk it up as a loss. They are the most fundamental team i have seen in a long time. As for the shot clock remark, be glad there wasn't one because you would of got beat by more than 10.

I can't see Gleason, Union City, Lake Co. or Greenfield losing to any team in the opposite district. I believe Huntingdon won it and would struggle to finish 8th or 9th i n district 14 a. I guess it'll be another 14 a tourn. Sorry, but you gals won't measure up to the level of play in 14 a.
