Sounds like Buzz is still trying to burn the kids out. When will he realize that these players are just kids. Let them take a breath every now and then.. For last year. The reason why LC won the district was they had some rain outs and they actually had a chance to rest. Then they were able to show what they could do when they werent worn out. Buzz needs to look at that and say that maybe he is working his kids too hard. If Buzz finally realizes this then LC will be true contender. The talent is there, it justs they are always too worn out... For Loudon, they will be tough to beat this year. They are looking very solid.

Going North???????? I hope you know that Oak Hill isnt North it is East. It is in VA, it is in the mountains with nothing around at all. It is about a hour and half from any city. Most people on here dont realize where this is. Oak Hill is a great porgram, and one of the greatest reasons why players develop there besides their coach Steve Smith, is that they are not close to anything. There is no distractions like big parties or going out to clubs. Those kids just go up there and eat sleep and play basketball. Tyler will benefit himself or hurt himself going up there. He will have step up to play against the talent they do, but if I was a betting man I would bet on him to improve greatly. Goodluck if you choose to go.....

I takes a real man for 20 to jump 2 guys and 6 girls. Kingston is low class, that is why nobody likes them, the same reason why they live there their whole life, bc as soon as they go somewhere else nobody likes them and they cant take it. For the district MVP Usually the winner has the MVP on their team, but not thisyear. For Sitsler not winning the Season MVP, he faded off at the end and Poole stole alot of his votes by coming on strong. Sitsler did great against cupCAKe teams in their nondistrict schedule, but wasnt as impressive against district opponents. For the bleacher thing, is anyone actually surprised, Kingston is classless and they will be classless next week come region time. Thats just who they are...

I feel AC has a really good chance this year, but surprisingly their best shot might be if they lose to Kingston and play AE in the first round. That way they can play AE early before they get rolling in the region, bc if AE wins the first won it is on.

Congratulations to LC, LC won in it mattered most. I know myself and others have given you all a hard time, but I am just glad you all finally broke through with a win. You all are now undefeated in postseason play, and I hope you all can press on through to play in the championship on Fri. Congrats to a Scott Co team, you all really turned it around towards the end of the year, but come tourney time anything can happen...

Like I said AC is my choice to win it all, but to say Scott isnt the hottest team right now is just uneducated. Scott beat AC & a much improved Loudon team. WHile AC lost to Carter & Scott. So to everyone else around that would make Scott just a little hotter then AC. But dont worry because coach E will be ready.

How uneducated are you. Just because your schools are bigger doesnt make you all superior. There are 3 teams in AA around Knox that would beat Bearden, and split or better with Farragut. AE, Alcoa, AC, and a 4th would be Fulton, but they are a little down this year. Bearden used to have the best coach around, until Eldridge came around. Sorry, but Blevins isnt near the coach Eldridge is.

I see AC winning, but if they dont, look for a sleeper team to win. LC has the talent, maybe they can find the guts to play hard and make a run, Also, Loudon is playing good ball. But Scott will be the sleeper team to win it all, if someone other then AC wins it. The advantage AC has over everyone is Coach Eldridge, he knows how to adjust during the games better then anyone, and he has plenty of experience in coaching in championship games... Kingston will be the disappointment this year. It takes more then 2 guys to win the district championship, and thats all Kingston has is 2 guys.. wellllllll, maybe 2.5 guys, because foley is about half the pointguard you want for a team..

The reasoning in doing this, is the other AA distircts in the state usually has 6 teams, which gives the top 2 teams a bye, and an automatic bid to the tourney. This is only fair to reward the teams who played well all year, not to reward the teams who had one good night, and then goes and embarrases their district in the region tourney. Regions and Districts want the best talent representing them, and this is the only way...

Also, for coach Grey, he appears to be super nice guy, which could be a downfall, but he should of never been your coach in the first place. Everyone knows that. Mitchells assistant should of got the job. Dorsete I believe is how you spell his name...

Most people dont dislike Mitchell, just ask the ones who played for him and has been out of school for a few years, i am around a few of them here in Ktown and they talk about it all the time. They have great respect for the man. It is the kids who are in school who dont like him, because he was tough and didnt listen to excuses. Also the parents of ball players didnt like him because he didnt listen to thier opinions, which no coach should. Coach Mitchell is a great coach. He always has a team that plays great defense, and it appears that he studies the game a great deal, I dont know this on the first hand, but seeing him coach since he joined the high school coaching about 8 years ago, you can tell he knows his stuff.

Theres no downgrading anyone here. If you dont like it then dont read it. Maybe if the players would start playing with heart and intensity they would be good. I have never questioned these players skill level. I have only questioned their killer instinct. Everyone in the district knows they have talent, we just havent seen it come out this year or last. I am glad LC had a excuse for their loss last night. It sure would of been embarrassing for LC and the district if they didnt. Also, I have zero affiliation with LC, I am fan of the district, and I want to see all of the teams perform well, and to see a LC team who should be 2nd or 3rd in their district, and end up being last in the district is rediculous. When the LC players figure out they have no guts, then maybe they will play with a killer instinct and make a run in the district. We all know the talent is there...

I just saw the score on knoxpreps, and I was thinking it was a misprint. What has happened to Lenoir City. The past 8 years they have had top teams, with a slight downfall these past two. Is LC that bad, or are they poorly coached or are the players too scared to play. I saw LC play in the summer and fall league, and it looked like they had a strong team, with plenty of size, now it sounds like a team with no fight and a team who just gave up.... If I was from LC I would be extremely embarrased with what has happened to your team. Is there an explanation for this. And just think next year LC will move up to AAA. I bet you all are missing Coach Mitchell NOW....

AC wont be hurting against 3AA. But the rest will be. Yes Carter went 3-1 against 4AA, but Mitchell knows that district to a T. He coached against them for 8 or so years. So I wasnt surprised to see him beat AC. For the rest of 4AA they will get put out in the 1st round of the region like always. They can match up speed and talent like AC can. For years 3AA has been a pressing district, and 4AA couldnt ever match with it, but AC is even better at the press the 3AA this year, and that is why they will finish in the top 2 of the region..

I wonder why they are playing on Wed this year. Dont they know that this is the bible belt. The babtist arent gonna like it too much....
