  1. Hands down, Rick Rudesill. Rick Rudesill by far outweighs the competition. He is in the gym 24/7 looking for ways to improve his team. I think he even sets up a tent at night in the gym and stays there. He is the greatest fundamental coach that I have ever seen. He eats, sleeps, and drinks basketball. He will go down one day as the greatest high school coach that Tennessee has ever seen. He takes mediocre players and makes them very good players. I'd put Mr. Rudesill up against any other coach in the state!
  2. Hey GoMab2! I have a quick question. Earlier in the year I saw Dickson County play a game. They had a kid that was about 6'2" and played guard. He was fairly athletic and had a good shot. Do you know who he is and how he has done this year?
  3. Get it through your thick skulls. I never said that Tyler Smith was not a good ball player. Only that he is not great! I guess that makes me a moron. Wait, no, that means I am not from GC and I actually have an unbiased outside view.
  4. Let it be known, I NEVER HATED ON MR. TYLER SMITH. I only stated that he is overrated, which is a fact. I do not think that he is a bad ball player at all, only that he is hyped far above the skills that he actually possesses. I mean, if I were to go down the YELLOW BRICK ROAD and play in Munchkin Land I would probably be a superstar also because of my superior athletic ability to all of the munchkins that surround me. All of these Tyler Smith overhypers will discover this when Tyler is on the next level.
  5. TYLER SMITH: Height: Above Average Athletic Ability: Great Basketball Ability: Pretty Good Fundamentals: Non-Existent Overall Analysis: OVERRATED :justwrestle:
  6. That is a deal Mr. GoMab! I hope that their is no animosity between us, I just want to have good intelligent basketball conversation, but I still think that the Delks are overrated. They will probably not grow another inch. This will cause tremendous matchup problems because they are 3s or 4s trapped in 2 guard bodies. Or as Dickie V. likes to call them, Tweeners Baby!
  7. Hey, GoMab! Write me back in a few years from now when the Delks have transferred to an NAIA school or either when they are finishing up their very mediocre Div. 1 careers.
  8. Why are we talking so much about bench pressing? Is Corey Brewer going to be in the WWF or is he a basketball player. Just wondering?
  9. I would like to remind everyone about the Bolivar--Giles Co. substate game from last year in which G.C. won on a major miracle half court shot in which extra time was alotted to G.C. (I hear that is a common occurrence in Pulaski) Anyway, one Brian Lake worked out on one Tyler Smith. It was a clear case of Hoop vs. Hype. Lake-HOOP-----------Smith-hype!
  10. One of the two Delks is a very good high school basketball player, the other is an average high school basketball player. Long way to go to be good D-1 players! I mean no offense toward anyone, but they are a little overrated. As a matter of fact they are not even the best players on their own team!
  11. And this year's AA Mr. Basketball award for the state of Tennessee goes to---Drum Roll please----Brian Lake. Brian Lake fully deserves the Mr. Basketball award for 2004. He plays for Bolivar, a team that fields a lineup in which any of the five is fully capable of scoring in double figures at anytime. Lake averages around 17 or 18 points and about 10 to 12 rebounds for a team that has been number 1 in the state for the entire season. Sure, some of these guys for these other teams average 30 pts a game, but who else do they have around them? Exactly!
  12. I attended the South Side and Lexington game last night! I came away very impressed with the coaches' wardrobes. Too bad the team stinks!
  13. Oh yeah, and you may have the best dressed coaches in Tennessee, but Bolivar by far has the best assistant coach(WillieMc)!!!!!!!!!!!
  14. Hey, DoubleDribblingNinjaFighter, Bolivar's coming buddy! Be Afraid, be very afraid!
