I'm not sure what year the Mason kid from Ridgeway is, but if he is a soph, then he is definitely one of the top in the state. Also the lefty from Mitchell. I have to agree with the poster that mentioned Jeremy Rhodes. He is maturing on and off the court and if he grows a little more, then he has the chance to be special!

I know that everyone has their own opinion, but that statement is wrong! Middleton, as an entire team, can match up with just about anyone athletically. That is year in and year out, not just this year. I'm not saying that Humboldt is inferior, just that Middleton is just as athletic.

I did not think that anything that I said could be misconstrued as a judgement of Irvin. I only made some general statements that could be true about anyone that plays basketball. The way people act on the court is often indicative of how they act in life. I didn't even allude to what Mr. Irvin did. I left that to the newspapers. Everytime that anyone talks bad about a fan, dogs a player and so forth, then that is passing judgement. I'm sorry if I have offended anyone!

I think very highly of the Sycamore team. They are very talented both with athleticism and basketball IQ. It should be a very good game and Sycamore could possibly pull an upset. If Bolivar brings their "A" game I still think they should pull out the win! The crazy thing is betting a significant amount of money on this game. You can judge a coach by a player's actions. Did you see any of Bolivar's players trying to take someone out? No, you didn't and that is a reflection of their coach! The most important thing to be noted out of everything is this: WHY DID LIBERTY'S 2 BEST PLAYERS SIT ON THE BENCH WHEN BOLIVAR ONLY HAD A 6 POINT LEAD. answer: BECAUSE THE LIBERTY COACH KNEW WHAT WAS COMING AND DID NOT WANT HIS BEST PLAYERS IN THE MIDDLE OF A BRAWL THAT COULD LEAD TO SUSPENSIONS THAT WOULD HARM STATE PLAYOFF CHANCES. THESE TWO PLAYERS WERE NOT EVEN IN FOUL TROUBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In what way did Wayne react with cockiness? He was thrown to the floor at least 7 times last night and the last time the idiot(IRVIN) grabbed him around his throat. He was fed up and had enough. By the way, no one ever said anything about the blow that Irvin laid on Jerry Griffin about a minute before the Willie/Irvin incident. It was worse than with Willie. It was not a foul, it was an intentional takeout. Irvin threw his forearm and hit Griffin under the chin. He never needs to play another high school basketball game. He is a THUG, THUG, THUG and no one can take up for him on that one. If he did that off the court, then he would be in jail!

Willie did not see Sain because he was looking down. Chism has not received a technical the entire year. That says enough.

It seemed last night that he was flopping those ears and FLYING to the rescue of Liberty every chance that he could get!

A few points: You are wrong about Chism, He is one of the classiest players around. He's a happy go lucky guy and wouldn't harm a fly. He does talk a little trash, but its all in fun, nothing harsh! The majority of Liberty fans are classless. Willie was just walking to talk to his coach and did not see Sain as he was going to the bench. Finally, you are a homer and you have crimson tinted vision!

Yes, this game was very badly officiated! Now, though, Liberty can drop all the stuff about getting cheated at Bolivar. The score was settled this evening. Tonight was totally ridiculous. Sure, Bolivar fouled some and the refs missed it, but Liberty's fouls were intentionally hard and many were downright dirty! Wayne, Willie, Madden, Griffin were all hammered to the floor on several occasions. Before Irvin(by the way, we see why so many transfers now) cold cocked Willie, Sain walked straight into Willie and gave him a shove as Kemp was going to talk to his coach. There is no doubt that NOT ALL of Liberty's fans are classless, but who booed as the starting lineups were called out.......ding, ding, ding, you got it.....LIBERTY FANS There is no doubt that not all of Liberty's players are classless, but who put a choke hold on Chism, Mike TYSONED Willie Kemp, and tried to take the legs out from under other players....ding, ding, ding, CORRECT AGAIN..........LIBERTY PLAYERS The verdict is still out on the coaches, but who did not seem to ever reprimand all of the classless stuff that was going on out on the floor which was topped off by the KO of KEMP by IRVIN(he's the guy with no game, but he packs a mean punch!) If they deserve it, then they deserve it. The best players are the best players! It doesn't matter where they come from. I noticed over the last few years in girls basketball that, at least two times....maybe more, there were two finalists from one team. That's how it should be done. If there are two players from one team that are better than all the rest, then why not reward them? When Shaq and Kobe were both still on the Lakers was Kobe still not better than every other guard in the league. By the argument that these people are giving, then he was the best guard, but he shouldn't get the credit for it because he was on the same team with Shaq. Makes no sense at all!!

Wayne Chism is five times better than Jarvis Varnado. NO DOUBT ABOUT IT! Varnado blocks shots, thats it! He should be the third finalist. It doesn't matter that he and Kemp play on the same team. Political correctness should be thrown out the window and Chism should be a finalist!
