Rhea County should be proud of their season and looking forward to next year. How many seniors? SS can fly, what grade and is she going to play in college?

Did not mean to leave out Riverdale who may be the favorite going in based on the season they are having. Soddy does have 7 starters leaving due to graduation but has a fine group of athletes coming up to fill these slots.

First, I'm a Soddy fan and let's not assume the person that started this is a Soddy fan. Secondly, the girls didn't start this and don't want any part of this type of talk as they do respect and understand the level of competition that they will face as they try to repeat as champs. Finally, the competition in TN is fantastic and there are several teams that I have seen that are capable of winning the state. Beech, Mt. Juliet, Ooltewah, Brentwood and Soddy to name a few. So rather than start this why don't we just watch the games and let the young ladies enjoy the experience and may the best team over the next couple of weeks enjoy their state championship.

I thought the coach from Rhea Co. did a great job this year as her team always played as they expected to win in the few games I saw them play. I'm not sure but I would say they accomplished some things this year that haven't been done by a Rhea Co. team in recent years. Plus lets face it Soddy is not the ideal draw for a make or break game.

Austin Eagles out of Chattanooga have the following teams: 18 Under (Rice) 18 Under (Hutchins) 16 Under (Pickett) 14 Under (Millwood) All should be competetive.

Way to go #16. It's good to see someone appreciates the team game and understands the effort it takes to compete in school ball. Good luck to Bledsoe and Whitwell in Crossville.

Soddy started six freshmen, two sophmores and one junior in the championship game. No seniors on the roster this year as there were two juniors, two sophmores and twelve freshmen.

Where I come from they call it (7) Seven and I did say (7) Seven STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS!!! Any questions??
