  1. I would have to the Riverdale-Smyrna game will be the one to watch. I expect there to be some kind of crowd at this game. It will fill up with well over what the stadium can hold.
  2. bhsol, my number was 76 and I played center I started my seinor year.
  3. Anyone have any stats from the game. I went to RHS and played on the football there from 98-01 (counting freshman year), and now go to school in West Tennessee. So I don't have a chance to watch any games or get any stats from the paper. I wanted to come home this weekend since I am on fall break but I am goin to the Tennessee-Ole Miss game. So if anyone has any info. that would be great.
  4. well all I have to say is that the player with the best stats does not always win this award. case in point the 2000 5A back was awarded to Gerald Riggs, though he was a great running back and still is, did not have near the stellar numbers as Ralph King and his 2700 yards rushing and 45 TDs. I think Riggs had about 10 less TDs and about 700 or 800 less rushing yards. That is all I am gonna say about that.
  5. Ok I played at Riverdale and the hate between BHS and RHS was not that bad untile my seinor year was over and they tried to say all that stuff about recruiting and then it all started. I was around Rankin 4 years and he liked to take his starters out of the game when we were up big, but I won't be surprised that the backups don't get as much playing time this game cause Rankin is gonna make this game as ugly as he wants it to be. Have a fun night Blackman because I have a feeling you are in for a long night.
  6. I have been all over the internet lookin for the game stats and have had no luck. If anyone has any game stats for this game could you please post them. Thanks
  7. bhsol, not to take anything away from Blackman cause what ya'll accomplished the first 2 years was great but remember Riverdale and Oakland had to draw their students from just one school and Blackman drew from three, so they had to start out with less, and Blackman drew in some very good athletes from those schools(Stembridge, Turner, and Robinson just to name a few). Also everytime someone starts and arguement about Riverdale and Blackman it seems like the 17 win thing is always mentioned is that the only thing ya'll can come up with.
  8. Well they may not be intimidated but expect Riverdales 47 points per game go up this week, and after a couple sub par games for Gaston Miller expect him to pile up the yardage against the Stars. Oh yeah lets not forget about Dave Thomas and then there is Riverdales Defense. Good luck Siegel you will need a lot.
  9. Well if they still think they can beat Riverdale they better bring a lot more than they brought 2nite because I saw Westview play Humbolt and they only had the one running back and as a former warrior myself I know for a fact that Riverdale would put some kind of whoopin on Westview. Especially since I got to see the warriors scrimmage this summer against MBA and they looked mighty good then and I know they are much improved sinve that scrimmage so if any of you mustangs out there still think you can play with the big boys all I have to say is keep dreamin.
  10. Looks like the warriors keep rolling by beatin the cougars tonight, but my question is does anyone have any stats from tonights game.
  11. any idea what the stats were for the game.

    De La Salle

I am not sure if ya'll keep up with high school football outside of tennessee, but I am sure you have heard of de la salle of Concord, CA. Riding a winning streak of over 150 games they have been ranked #2 behind another CA team. What are ya'lls thoughts.
