I'd have to say this one will go to Maryville. i know Mcallister and Harris didnt play against Alcoa in thier criammge...but Alcoa ran all over them. Alcoas line was owning both sides, and alcoa drilled them. so with that said Maryville will win this one.

those three are pretty darn good....and dependning on well Martin White comes back from his knee injury, there might be a 4th on that list.

you beat them all up and down the field....but who cares you still blew it. in the books it doesn't say that you beat them up and down the feild, but does the same thing as every other game which is an L. samething with Alcoa, my gosh driving down he field and your QB dropped the snap. and it was like Heritage just was like well, it happend again, oh well. time for a Heritage player to step in? yoiu guys haven't stepped up in years. so before you guys get on here and scream play-offs, wait till you guys get a coulpe of wins under yalls belt.

Eveery team does go through it sometimes. Alcoa had a 3 win season, but that was because they had 8 freshman start both sides of the ball. Heritage hasn't had a down year. more like down decades. no hope!

your tired of losing but can't really do anything about it, Heritage will be just simple Heritage. and i hate it that it's that way but the middle school teams that will now be juniors and seniors will be playing which was the worst in history( got that from a Heritage coach). he even told me that when this group was in middle and freshman, that all of the Heritage programs, had only 1 win between them. yikes! does that new coach know what he's getting into?

No I'm not calling him a moron, Meadows system is very difficult to understand, and just getting it out of your mouth is eben harder, i know because i saw M. George say it. i just don't think he's a good football player, but i do think he's pretty good at b-ball. and i agree with rebelrider they graduated everybody on the o-line. Hatcher is big but can't move at all. and yea u do have to have a good line to run the wing-T, your always pulling and picking up blitz from where the guard pulls.

well Barkley it wasn't pretty but still great season for them and they will be one of the realy favorits to win it this year.

the year they beat Maryville like that was supose to be the year for Heritage, they ended up going 5-5, and as always, was buying tickets come post season. i don't see them winning any games this year, not with a new coach and a losing mentailly that they have. building up Heritage will take more then a year, i mean some people can heal the sick, but def, can't raise the dead!

W.B. will be one dimensional in my opion. i don't think Lucas walls has the arm or the mentallity to throw on defense's. the only thing that they will have going for them will be thier ground game.

yes i will agree with you on the line. I'm not trying to make excuses for them or anything, but with all the success they had they still started 1 freshman, 2 sophmores, and 2 seniors. and one of the sophmores was hurt in the middle of the season, which Alcoa had to go to another freshman.

I was very impressed with Blomstrom last year. but i wasn't really with Latam. the only fact is because it seemd as if him and #5 just simply quit. but do't get me wrong still a fine athlete. i just can't see Sweetwater stomping the run and pass threat that Alcoa persents. i thknk it will be to many match up problms for any team in 2a besides the privates.

the fact is that your probally a washed up person who has never been on the field in your field. so don't tell e whats smart and whats not. and again Alcoa was 2-a in the semifinals with a J.V. team bassically. but yet down the stretch they held their own untill they played lipscomb. and about the rivalry, i dont have to have facts, even RebelRider might even tell you that, all though it might of lost some luster the past coulpe of years, this game year in and year out has the highest intensity around.

oh without a doubt it is. infact i hope Dustin has a succesful future in whatever he might do. but Unfortunately, that doesn't equal out to wins on the field. and if that was the case then Heritage might be undefeated every year.

I started this post and seeing the team lift weights and then seeing them after school throwing and catching, Alcoa will dominate this region. and at first i thought i was imagining, but i saw Darius Sudderth out there at Defensive back and he looked awesome! everybody that follows Alcoa knows what kind of athlete he is. can anybody help me on this i heard that Joei Fiegler and Brandon Warren were invited to the Nike Camp, is there any truth to this?

and besides that Alcoa and Maryville was rated as the number 3 rivalry in the nation about 8 or 9 years ago, and to be honest its heating up to that level again. and Wb is trying to get on that level to make it all a big race to get on top. so know your facts buddy

How could you say that? knowing this is a board for Blount County fans to come and talk about the great Qb's in our county. Cade Thompson, i mean what can you say, a seasond vetern that can own all of Maryvilles records. Joei Fiegler who was all-state honorable mention that passed for over 2,000 yards and 24 Td's. I'm sure Wb will find someone to put in thier to do a good job. and heritage, well heritage will still be to thier normal ways.
