McEwen plays Ezell at 5:30. This should be one of the best games of the year. I can't wait. To all of the McEwen players, just remember to always give your all out there tomorrow night. Remember who and what you are playing for. You guys in my opinion are definitely the favorite by a small margin but still the favorite. Go out there and play with your heads and heart in this game. You guys are better than just a second round region game. Do not sell yourselves short like we have in past years. You will never forget these times and you certainly don't get them back. Let me start off by saying that all of these candidates are very worthy of the nominations. I have seen Caleb play and puckett. I haven't seen doaks play this year or ever for that matter. I know everyone thinks that Caleb is a shoe in for the award however i have to believe that Puckett is not to far behind. He had a few 12 point games that brought his average down, but he is still getting 21 a game with 13 boards, 4.4 blocks per game, 2 steals and three assists per game. He is definitely a solid player. Temple will probably win the state this year. That is a real possibilty. The program that coach has built the past couple of years is amazing. I loved watching them play this year. McEwen probably will not win the state, but it will definitely not be because Puckett isn't the real deal. He has taken that team which has an o.k. supporting cast when they play to a 24-2 season so far. This to me is really impressive. I think the award will still go to the player who takes their team farther in state. I think all of the candidates are worthy good luck to all. Especiall Puckett, congrats man this is a great honor and I wish you well. Give it to East Robertson tomorrow night in the championship. Go McEwen

Puckett had 31 a bunch of rebounds and a lot of blocks. Great win McEwen!!! Come out to play every game and there is no way anyone in the district or region is going to beat you. McEwen beats Clarksville Academy by 14. The score was a whole lot closer than it should have been. The subs came in almost the whole fourth quarter. Daniel Puckett added 29 with 6 dunks. My hat is off to this guy, every since the team was getting criticized about not playing hard he has really stepped it up in his last five games with 29, 28,26,30,and29. I know he is not going to be in the running for Mr. Basketball, but that is because he is a great team player. You guys are definitely going to have to play hard on Thursday against Houston Co. Play hard and smart there is no way you can lose if you are on top of your game. Go McEwen!!! Puckett for president Houston County don't want the buisness. i know that cpa has played mcewen and temple this year i was wonderin how you guys felt about puckett and skogen as far as the best baller player goes. im from mcewen and i guess my vote would go to puckett, this is a lil bias though, i went to watch cpa play temple and was impressed with temple and the skogen brothers but i think puckett is a lil better. your thoughts on this topic. thanks for the future post and good luck in the touranments til you guys meet us.

allregionpat you are such a joke. Yeah we may have beat a ten and fourteen team, but you got beat by thirtythree to a 16-12 single A team. You know that you will never beat McEwen again. McEwen will win the district and maybe the region if they can get over some of their bad attitudes and start playing like a team which they have started doing the past two games. ok quit posting about McEwen not having any class. I am so tired of it. We will get the number one seed no matter what but who cares you guys will still get to play davidson academy instead of CA. We will probably meet for the championship. I can't wait. I am not trying to make excuses, but probably the least classiest person would definitely have to be your guys coach. Hey naismith there is no way that it is tied. First off we are done with our district games 12-2 poor little white house has two more district games. It is not tied we already won the regular season district. East has a number three seed and we beat them twice you guys didn't. You are not tied and never will be. well the way i see it bluesbrother McEwen has beaten heritage once without their second leading scorer, and they are about to beat you again. So if by playing overton will get you better then we don't need any part of it. NO matter who you have played and who we haven't, it doesn't matter beat us and then talk. i was just wondering on how everyone thought region 5a and 6a would match up this year for substate. more specifically, i was wondering how the top four teams from 5a look against the top four frome 6a. i said top four because of only best two from region go substate, so there is some leeway for upsets.

Just because Daniel didn't have thirty points tonight you are not impressed. The reason he doesn't have thirty everygame is because he is a great team player. Try playing him man to man and he may drop fourty on your guys(like East Robertson did). Bottom line heritage is not all that good i was expecting a little more since our second leading scorer was out. If you didn't get us tonight then you probably never will.
