I play Division IA college ball and Gary Rankin is steel the best football coach I have had.

A few of Riverdale's coach have turned down jobs just to stay. It's a program secound to none. The kids beleave and buy into what their coached. Why leave? If your winning the only thing left to do is lose.

sorry for delay....Davidson Academy will win state this year if they can get past tippman.......they lost senior standout ross coffee who went to play at APSU and ran for a ton of yards last year...they also lost big Cage Major who was a definite dominant force on both sides of ball...he also plays at APSU and will get lot of playing time as freshmen....those are the ones that went on to play college ball

I apologize....i saw it started with a N and a saw the orange so i thought it was someone from NCS.....it wasnt though sorry.....and about the "every district game matters and that is all the season is about" It may be true that being number one in the disrict is important to some teams pride and it gets them a better seed, BUT when it boils down to it the very last seed could end up winning state, so it doesnt really matter till you get to region.

Davidson already knows that they are not going to be number 1, 2 or maybe even 3rd in their district this year so that game did not mean alot to him. As for the NCS comment, the payne kid might look like he doesnt care but that is just how he is...if i could act like i didnt care and still put up 20+ point games then i'd love be the most lackadasical person on the floor.

Im pretty sure the payne guy has really short hair...but he might wear gel in it....anyway....to some the other person comment about McEwen shutting him down...i know what your saying about the defense they are pretty crazy...but i belive the payne kid just had an off game or just didnt care because the next game he had 18 so i think he just shows up to play when he wants....that Mcewen game didnt mean all that much to him...im sure all those people were there to see Puckett anway....o yea....i figured that whyteboywithops was puckett because that is the only person who has ever dunked it on davidson and puckett dunked it last year as well so i thought it still could have been him even though they didnt play them until the day after he posted that.

no, dillon heath did not play basketball this year...i believe it was because he wanted to focus on baseball. However, matt hopper will take his plcae, and from what i hear he is doing pretty well.

This guy is going to do great things this year....I do not go to Davidson, but know people that go there....and all they have been telling me is how good he is doing already. In two games is has score almost 60 points! I can not wait to see how much better he can get this year and how many points he is going to be racking up.

To add to this topic, I have not heard alot about Mt. Pleasant, except for their pitcher. As for Goodpasture, i have heard that they are a great hitting team, and their pitchers are very good as well. With their tough schedule, i belive they will be ready for postseason. However, TCA i hear will bring some competition as well. I havent heard alot about Davidson Academy, but i know they won state last year, beating Goodpasture in region, along with defeating TCA earlier this year. So, i can not say who I think will win it all, but i do know that it will be a great state tournament none the less.

I think DA threw there JV pitchers. That is what i heard. Goodpasture is a great team, but i remember last year they stomped DA by 5 or 6 at Davidson i think; however we all know who ended up winning it so i think Davidson Academy will be fine in the end.

Davidson should be leading the polls, even though the rest of the teams arent that good like whoever said, Davidson will be good this year and beat all those teams.

Ross Coffee, Tyler Hood, Brady Mcdaniel, Lance Meadows, Dan wingo (all sophmores) from davidson academy are great. DA win probably play FRA in state championship unless they get upset.
