Final Results are now online at 2008 FRGC Final Results.

The problems were not due to computer problems, the problems were due to kids changing weight classes and not being entered in the weight classes they weighed in. They will wrestle nonstop throughout the day. I would hope they would be complete by 7pm. This tournament has a history of kids not making the weight they entered or entered kids not showing up to wrestle. It takes time to process all of that. There is not a limit to the number of wrestlers an individual school can enter into a weight class, as far as I have been told by MTWOA. We will split the weight class if it has more than 16 wrestlers entered in it. We will also separate wrestlers from the same school among the division and inside a bracket.

I only handle the freshmen tournament, if they provide me with that information I'll share it with you all.

Thanks, we do have a full schedule this year. It is great to have good people like Ellie, Scott and Tim D to help run them. Jonathan D is going to start this year. Rod Holliman is a big help and the girls at McGavock are great help at the McGavock tournament.

That format was used in the Varsity tournament however it was not used in the JV and Freshmen tournaments because several schools had multiple entries in the same weight class. Those tournaments were scored by the final placement points that the wrestler received in the tournament is his weight class. If there were 2 kids from the same school that placed then only the highest placing wrestler of the 2 scored points. 1st= 14 2nd=10 3rd= 7 4th= 4 No advancement or bonus points were totaled for these tournaments.
