  1. In the Chattanooga area, Bradley Central High School has the largest stadium in which only one school plays and it seats 10,000.

I don't know why he left, but they sure didn't want to lose him at LFO. I know that for a fact.
  3. You probably don't even know what he looks like! If he was in the building everybody in this community would know about it! This makes me want to seriously question any of your quotes on this site!

They have interviewed Mark Tipton, John Allen, Bill "Chief" Robertson, and have talked briefly with Scotty Smith. Benny Monroe was not interested. Other names being thrown around are Grant Reynolds, Reggie Mathis, and a coach from Beech High School. They are accepting applications at the Central Office or at BCHS. If you know of anyone interested they can contact Turner Jackson(AD), Martha Frazier(AD/Asst. Prin), Tom Losh(PRIN), or the Central Office. Those numbers are 423-476-0650, or 423-476-0620. They do have a plan and want someone who can be successful, and mesh with the people at Bradley. They plan is to seriously analyze everthing about the candidates-x & O's, community involvement, personality, character & morality, etc.

The school system will pay whatever the coach would make under the current salary schedule, which would put John Allen at around $53-$54,000. If a donor wants to pay anyone in excess of that, it is clearly their business, as long as it properly goes through the business office. As far as kids go, I believe everyone is trying to do what's right for the kids! I've been around here for a long time and I've never known of a football coach at Bradley that has had a problem getting equipment. As far as renovations and fire codes go, they are complete, and the additional money from BCHS supporters has absolutely NOTHING to do with taxpayer money! Also, a contract has not been offered to anyone, and the school system will do whatever is legal in hiring a coach! I am very grateful that the school board is concerned with BCHS, and wants to bring in a high profile person. I KNOW that many people in the system want what's best for the kids. Their has been many hours spent on this search so far, and it will continue until the right fit is found. This so-called gossip makes me sick!
  6. Predictions for District 5AAA. Who will be top-dawg, Bradley or Cleveland?
  7. Hey biglon68. Where did you get these numbers? That is very interesting. I'm trying to find out what Bradley Central's all-time records are. Do you know where I could get that information?
  8. There are plenty of people who care about Bradley Football!!! Give it some time and the Bears will be back. Enjoy all the jokes about BCHS now, 'cause I know for a fact people are COMMITTED AND SERIOUS about rebuilding that program! The search is on for the man to do the job and plenty of people are willing and able to help!
  9. Is Reynolds interested in being a Head Coach?
  10. I am surprised that no one listed Eddie Nunley as a great assistant. Coach Nunley has a great defensive mind, and gets the most out of the talent he is given. He is very respected in the coaching community. I don't know if he wants to be a Head Coach now, since he's been coaching for about 25 years.
  11. Without a doubt, Bradley Central has the best stadium, when you include playing surface, restrooms, concessions, and seating capacity. The worst stadium I have been to is Cocke County, although it has been about seven years ago. Hopefully, they have updated!

    40 times

I don't know their actual 40 times, but Lamar Thompson and Grayson Elmore from Bradley Central are two of the fastest young men in the Chattanooga/Cleveland area. In most track meets in the area, Lamar finishes 1st and Grayson finishes second, in both the 100m and the 200m. They both played football at Bradley this year, as Lamar was a senior and Grayson was a sophomore. If anyone knows what their 40 times are let me know.
