Good for you. I'm glad you found this post necessary. This question was indeed a generalized question for wherever they headed. In fact, I know both these goalies could easily play DII or DIII ball after seeing them play.

What about Taylor and Rainer, the state's two top goalies, where are they headed?

    Gone

Ezelle is only a junior at Farragut. Farragut lost Ryan Kizer, John Fanjoy, Kyle Travis, Doug Grapski, Shane White, Brett Harper, and Tommie Morgan

Grapski is headed to Lehigh in hopes of walking on which he will easily do an may even earn a scholarship after a year. I've been told Kizer is headed to ETSU but hopes to transfer to UT for lacrosse. Which Penn are you referring to in heading to UT?

    All-Americans

All-Americans came out this morning and you could not get three more solid players. Gibson led the voting and Grapski got an easy second. Sawyer won the third spot in a very tight vote. Congrats to these guys and good luck down the road.

I went to watch the UT vs. Vandy game this fall, it was a good game and Vandy won but you could tell Vandy was much better. I would offer a different point of view on this. I, too, went to the UT vs. Vandy game this winter. While Vandy did win by one, I felt UT had the better talent. The deciding factor was the lack of depth for UT which ended up killing their team this year. I believe they had around twenty guys per game at best. That said, both UT and Vandy seem to be programs on the rise. Vandy has made huge strides in the last years to just miss making the SELC tournament this year. UT is a very young team showing great promise with 7 of their top 8 scorers being freshman and sophomores. Matt Cleary, a freshman from Centennial, also was named to first team all-SELC this week. UT also had seniors Larry Tilley and Chris Kirk (Brentwood) and sophomore Michael Samarin (Farragut) make honorable mention. It's going to be exciting come this time next year to see how far these teams have come for I think both have a great base for making elite ballclubs in the conference.
  9. Cordova is not a bad team. Farragut had just finished a close game with Father Ryan and they're weakness is in their numbers (17 or 18). Farragut's starting goalie was also out with injury which hurt. On a normal day, I think Farragut would when for their talent is much better but Cordova exposed their weaknesses and picked up a nice win.
  10. What are yall's picks for All-Americans? Gibson is almost an automatic and Burns should if his knee holds up. My sleeper pick is the Grapski kid from Farragut. Caroland could give it a strong run but I think too much glory will be taken by Burns.

    Top public school

Farragut year in and year out is the top of public schools. While they seem to be ready for a down year, they still seem to be atop the class of public schools. Franklin, Centennial, Ravenwood, Webb of Knoxville, and Brentwood are some other public schools to look out for in the future. Also, Houston moved up into D1 this year and it will be interesting to see how they do.
  12. Danny Petersen, starting D on Farragut is going to play at Tennessee. Jameson Bundy, starting middie is between Queens Of Charlotte (DII) or Tennessee.
  13. I wouldnt say Franklin/Centennial is going to run away with it. It'll definitely be them and Cordova in the Championship. I believe it will be very close though i do believe F/C has improved much since their 1st match in March do to their fairly tough schedule while Cordova's only hard game was MUS which they did fairly well in. I'll take Franklin/Centennial by 2 in a high scoring game
  14. MUS Domination. McCallie was clearly quicker than MBA and this killed them. MUS is clearly quicker than McCallie.
