  1. You obviously don't know much about the present teams. SD lost a lot and Ooltewah lost 0 from last years team. And if I remember corectly, Ooltewah gave SD all they could handle in their meeting(s). I think Ooltewah will handle both of those teams with relative ease. And they have, by far, the best coach in the region.
  2. It would be, by far, the most important game they have played this year. The winner will probably have an easy road to the Region Championship. It will be intense. I will wait to post a prediction.
  3. Jurick had over half of East Ridge's points... wow.
  4. WHy are you worried about it, we won by 18?
  5. I think the refs were terrible for both teams. I think it was obvious that they were giving Temple more respect in the beginning of the game. Thus, it was in Temple's favor early. It evened out throughout the game tho. What was with Dee's catch and roll, but no travel call? haha That was my only complaint about the reffing, I like it when they let the kids play. I'm glad it didn't come down to a last second call, who knows what they would have done... maybe a jump ball at half court? haha
  6. I have said that... but, I would agree with some of the Temple fans. I think they could have played better. I think Grace could have put a better effort in if the fouls wou;dn't have come into play in the second quarter. You have to remember that Grace was up one at half even tho Nick, Dilts and Carter sat the ENTIRE second quarter. It was a good job by the bench stepping up and playin well. I think both teams could improve on last nights game. I think Temple will play better in the next match up and Grace will play a bit smarter.... Grace is still 10+ points better and I they finally proved it to themselves last night.
  7. A factor for this game... Grace plays extremely good in ER's gym.
  8. I love this kid... Grace/Temple III tonight. If anyone in Chatt. is bored and looking for a good time, show up at Temple University Gym tonight at around 7:30. Two of the top 5 A basketball teams and quite possibly the best basketball rivalry in Chattanooga will be unfolding. I will be there. Cakaw!
  9. Jeffery Smith, Nick Van Horn, Davis Eldridge, Jonathan Dilts. All senior who start around Carter. Jonathan Wheeler, Matt Lowery. 6 and 7, both are seniors.
  10. They have played probably the two weekest teams in their district this week. I'm sure coach M has let his bench play a ton this week. I would say at most the starters played 2.5 quarters, but I haven't been to either. I'm sure he wants to make sure his starters stay sharp, but he's not gunna run up the score. Plus, Temple is tom. night... the guys could use some rest by this point in the year.
  11. I thought I was the reason you were coming down...?! I will post again later, I must gather my thoughts. hahaha
  12. Well then, they should come out of the list. haha Anyone else out of Knox. in A/AA that could be a big threat?
  13. I think that A/AA might be the most difficult to predict this year. There are a handful of teams that have the talent to win it all, but I think it will come down to who is playing the best at the end of the year, especcially tourny time. CCS Notre Dame and CSAS should be tough out of Chattanooga area. CAK Catholic and LC out of the Knoxville area will also be tough to beat. I'm sure West TN has some teams that I don't know about, but those 6 teams could all be top ten. I'm gunna say that the State champ will either come out of Knox or Chatty. Not because I'm biased to this part of the state, but because I think it will be tough for any team from the West to beat TWO teams from the East on the road to the championship. FRA might prove me wrong, but I'm not sure if they can do it.
  14. Thanx, too bad we couldn't make it a little bit more interesting when we played you guys. Best of luck this year. A/AA will be alot tougher htis year, but I'm sure you will have your guys prepared.
  15. Hey guys! haha A few things, We graduated 7 starters from last years team that went to state and lost to the eventual champs. Keeper, Sweeper, both center-mids, both forwards and an outside mid. It will be a rough year for Grace I think. They are very young now, with only 3 seniors that saw significant time last year and a junior who might be one of the best backs in the city. Grace will come out tough every game. They will play hard and work together, but like I said, they will be very young and inexperienced. Best of luck to my boys this year! Top 5 1- Baylor- always talented, well coached, bach is amazing 2- ND- With only a few graduating, they will be tough 3- Ooltewah - 0 graduated from the starters last year. + Emilio will be eligible. 4- CCS- State Runner up last year in A/AA, didn't lose too much, always talented 5- Mccallie- Tough midfield with Nori and Patrick, they will be fun to watch
  16. I agree with everything you said in this post. Last year is a good example. I thought Temple's was 10+ points better then Grace on paper, but you are right, after the first game, all of them were close, especially at tourny time. This year, I think Grace is 10+ points better than Temple on paper. (someone is gunna say "that's why they play the games" to that comment) Friday is coming, it should be a fun to be a part of, as always.
  17. Can you, or any other Temple fan, HONESTLY say that Temple has the talent and leadership that Grace has as a team? I don't think they do. Maybe certain individuals, but not as a team. Temple has played better as a team in the two games this year. BUT, Grace has come out on top. Call it whatever you want, but a win is a win, and that's a fact, no matter how you got it. What I'm sayin is that at the Valley game, Grace played as unit and with some fire. Therefore, if Grace plays their A ball and Temple plays their A ball, I think that the three factors I mentioned above would make for a 10+ Grace advantage.
  18. Now, you sir, are being very unfriendly, calling me a douche. I never have said Temple was a bad team or that we would beat them by 30. He brought up the fact that we scored 105 on Valley. I was simply making a point the we did alot of scoring with the starters on the bench and the purpose was not to run the score up. Also, I never said that Coach M. would play the bench like that against Temple. Why so hostile? I was simply stating my opinion. If you don;t like it, I'm sorry. Any nuetral observer of the Valley game would tell you Grace played with fire for the first time this year. That doesn't mean they are gunna beat Temple by 30. I never said, or implied that.
  19. Did I ever mention the score of the valley game? Did I say Grace would win b/c they scored 105 on Valley? Nope... find a better way to try and prove me wrong. AND I don't think the Temple could have scored 105 on Valley without their starters playin the whole game. The Grace starters only played 2.5 quarters. 4-2.5= 1.5 quarters that not one of Grace's starters was on the floor. But myabe I'm wrong...
  20. Ok, you are telling me that if Grace plays like they did against Valley and Temple plays their best game, Temple would win? I don't think so, but that's my opinion I guess. Valley might have been the best I've seen Grace play all year, and I heard other people say that too. These are people who have been to EVERY Grace game (that includes the Temple games). Like I said before, IF grace plays like they did against Valley, Grace wins by 10+.
