  1. Closer than most think... I say 40-32 The Camp
  2. I think it's high scoring... Green Wave offense too much- GHS 37 HHS 31
  3. Gallatin 41 HHS 28...green wave is an offensive machine....
  4. It's all good, hung 55 on them. Just had to wake up first.... On to HHS
  5. You may be right about the actual zoning. But he is headed to GHS. Again, shunt9@yahoo.com if you feel a need to reveal your identity. Otherwise, good luck to the Bison. Some kids out there.
  6. Hahahahahahaha! Good one. I'll go with Red dumb@**! Email me at shunt9@yahoo.com if you want to get into the ugly name calling... As for Perry, you may be right about the zoning. And I certainly don't blame the sister for choosing SC...but little brother is going to GHS. Either way, CONGRATS on your past championships and good luck to your Bison. Lots of good folk out there.
  7. Bottom line is this- GHS supporters and SC supporters never going to agree. Both are good schools, full of good kids and good people. Both schools have some jerks and problems. The old days of one Gallatin program where it's the center of attention are gone. Change happens. Both schools are going to try to get kids to come to their school-that's just part of it. Call it recruiting or whatever, but it happens all around. It's foolish to think otherwise. I've been at Rucker 2 years now coaching FB and BKB. I've never seen a single coach from another school ( public or private) do anything out of line. Most of our athletes have gone to GHS, including 6 of my top 7 basketball players. 1 Rucker kid went to JP2, and 1 went to FRiendship.
  8. Eers, just going out on a limb and predicting GHS and HHS at 9-1... Next time I will seek your permission before doing so.
  9. Important thing is GHS admin is getting things back on track. Spirit is back, and the football and boys hoops programs will be just fine. IMO, GHS lost their way for a short time, worrying too much about what Station Camp and JP2 were doing instead of focusing on the great tradition they have. The current staff and admin has righted the ship it looks like...
  10. I just get the feeling he is...either way it's a waste of time. Back to the topic, I do believe the Wave are in for a much bigger season than people are expecting.
  11. Chickpea is a GHS supporter, and former Wave athlete. Just wants to stir the pot to get folks to say positive things about GHS...
  12. Chicken hit, chickpea, chickhot, or whatever you go by, the Perry kid is zoned Gallatin. I am his football/basketball coach at Rucker. So there you go... He will be the only football "Perry" at GHS next year. Im pretty certain the principal and AD at GHS will confirm that for you if you will give the school a call or stop by the main office. Now, I suppose there are scenarios that could bring Roger Perry to GHS. He's a great coach, but Im 99 percent sure Mark Williams will be just fine.... Fact is, you are a GHS supporter, who is working on here to get your own folks to say great things about Gallatin football.
  13. Perry will indeed be at Gallatin next year... Sirtavious Perry, RB/DB from Rucker Stewart Middle...
  14. I predicted a GHS win, and it was very close. Im still sticking to my 9-1 prediction... Green Wave is back in business...
  15. Wave 34 Beech 24...C2G (Carnes and Coggins) will lead the way.
  16. Friendship loses 8 of 9 starters, 4 of top 5 pitchers from Class A championship team. Will be very young in first season of d-II. Still have talent, but very young.
  17. Call it upset if you want, but you can take this to the bank: Green Wave by 10...and the Fightin' Cardwells should get ready for more of the same the next 4-5 years! However, Coach Crabtree is, IMO, one if the best coaches in the state. Beech will remain competitive.
  18. After first week of action, lets rework the predictions with predicted finishes: 1- GHS 9-1 2- HHS 9-1 3- SC 7-3 4- MJ 6-4 5- Beech 6-4 6- WC 5-5 7 - LHS - 4-6 8- PHS - 2-8 Get ready for about a 4 year run dominated by the Green Wave.
  19. LHS 28 FC 17 HHS 45 HL 12 WHHS 20 Portland 7 GHS 35 Springfield 6 WC 31 Lavergne 7 MJ 30 Antioch 13 Beech 27 Henry 24
  20. Springfield is a bad team, period. Good opening game for the Wave as a tune up for Beech... Gallatin 35-7 over Springfield.
