  1. How can you say Gunter couldn't get the win for yall? He gave up only one run and it was unearned. Sounds like the coaches made a good call. It's not the pitcher's fault when the bats aren't going. Gunter did his job, he just didn't get any help.
  2. MC did beat Cheatham 3-2. Then Harpeth turned around and beat Cheatham 11-5. Harpeth plays MC tomorrow at Cheatham at 4:30 if the weather permits.
  3. Did they play the Cheatham/Montgomery Central game? If they did, what was the score?
  4. You can't post the tourney until the play in games are through, so we know who plays who. Does anyone know anything about Sycamore and Central tonight?
  5. It's hard to beat the same team 3 times in a row, much less upset the same team 3 times in a row. I say Cheatham by at least 5.
  6. I have never heard of a #2 seed being a champion. If two teams are tied, they go head to head, and Harpeth and Sycamore split during the season. Then they go to best record against next best team in the district, which would be Montgomery Central. Harpeth swept Central, Sycamore lost one that I know of. They have these things so there won't be co-champions.
  7. What other district games are this week? Harpeth plays Stewart on Wednesday and Cheatham on Friday.
  8. When does Sycamore and Montgomery Central play? And what happened to that pitcher from Sycamore who got hurt last night? Any details. . .
  9. We still have to beat Stewart County twice too.
  10. Yea, Harpeth and Montgomery Central both have 2 losses but we beat Central twice so we have the tie breaker.
  11. Harpeth 14, Creek Wood 2
  12. Harpeth and Creek Wood play Monday night
  13. As much as I don't like Cheatham, and as big as the county rivalry is, I have to back them up on this one. Exfire, how can you say that Cheatham isn't that good when Fairview isn't even in the running for 1st in their district? And don't say it's cause 9-AA is way stronger than 10-AA. We both know, 9-AA isn't as strong as it usually is this year.
  14. Yea man we play at Cheatham at 1:00 on Wednesday. This game may end up determining who wins the district. It should be a fun one to watch. I saw the article about the Putnams in the Tennessean. Matt and Luke played on our summer team 2 years ago and they are good. . .fast too.
