What can or can`t a player wear in a game? We had a player this year that wore something in her hair (I think) that undoubtedly was not allowed. Our coach got a yellow card for it. And why should the coach get the yellow card and not the player if it was the player that broke the rule?

For Henry County fans...what`s up with the talk about decreasing home crowds? That`s sad to hear. It`s one county, one school there. You have a great coach and a rising program. Seems like the attendance should be rising too. Why aren`t the stands full? Any thoughts? This post isn`t a jab at Henry County, I hope y`all know that. It just seems like this should be a time when even the folks who "sit on the rail" or otherwise known as those who "jump on the bandwagon" should be out in full support. What`s it gonna take for the fans to fill it up?

Hint...it was a St.Louis Cardinal. I figured Sol or jusdontno should get this one.

Thanks for the wishes. JCM has bigger problems though beyond the football program. It is almost a certainty that they will move down to at least 3A if not 2A next reclassification period. And that is incumbent on them still being a school. I`ll always be a JCM fan even though I didn`t go to school there. I thoroughly enjoyed my son`s 4 years there. He went out on top as a captain of a region champion. I admire what HC has done. My son played summer baseball with a kid from HC the summer that Gaddis was coming to Paris. He talked about the hiring process and the fact that Henry County wanted to get back to where they once were. It`s all coming to fruition now for HC.

red patriot was the one who brought up my allegiance. Frankly I think HC should win and I`m pulling for them. A loss means a third straight 2nd place region finish for HC. As good as they have played this year it still comes down to this one game and whether or not HC can finish it. Over the past 3 years HC has been the best team (overall) in the region, but have yet to bring home any region hardware. (I do think JCM was the best team 2 years ago for that year though /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> ) I haven`t seen Hardin County play, but I was very impressed with HC team this year. I never would have thought Hardin would have beat JCM like they did but it was worse than Henry County beat them. I don`t know if this CollegeScoutforTN is a Patriot fan or not, but from my looking on the outside viewpoint Hardin County is gonna give Henry County a game. I`d have to question anyone who has already awarded the championship to Henry County.

Were they in the first half or second half? Did they give HC good field position or kill a good drive by NS? Where are ys HC fans? Tell us about the game.

I think at JCM they call that class PE. Seriously though, I wish fans could be more respectful and throw their trash away.

Inadvertent whistles are a part of the game. Once the whistle blew the play is over. By rules if the whistle blew before the interception (which it appears it did)then it should have been Smyrna ball. So if you want to try and get technical about it then the bad call cost Smyrna 3 points. Either way it doesn`t really change the fact that Riverdale blew a 16 point lead now does it. Riverdale has some very good linemen. A point that wasn`t missed by the announcers who must have said that 1000 times during the game. This will be a great rematch if they meet in the playoffs.

I definitely don`t have a dog in this hunt since I live in Jackson, but the game was on here and I couldn`t pass up watching it. On the sideline hit it appeared to me that the Riverdale player was actually standing out of bounds when the Smyrna QB got hit. Kinda looked unusual since most of the time both players (the defender and the ball carrier) would be running toward the sideline. This time it appeared that the defender had already been out of bounds and was waiting on him. I`m not saying the Riverdale player hit him intentionally out of bounds, but I just don`t think he realized he wasn`t actually standing in bounds when he made the hit. Did anyone else see it that way? Once again, great game. I don`t care if your team won or lost, if you were a fan or a player. Just a great game to have watched or had the privilege to play in.

If you see it, then please help the moderators out and report it. There is a "report" button for every post. Coacht would like to keep this message board clean. Can`t say that I blame him.
