  1. I would hope Eller comes into the spring and trains his team. As for the rest of the coaches they all know what they have to do in the weight room. I was not coached under harris. Are coach Greene and Holiday still there? In college I always heard about how we had the nastiest line (defense and offense). It is a shame coach Davis will resign. As a player I could not stand him, but the more i worked with him the more i understood him. Meigs might of had a bad year and they lost alot of talent. But from what i heard, didnt they Rayl to Central? They alot of depth over the past 2 years. Also didnt they have less than 40 players on the team? Meigs County has always had talent, but some students in the school need to stand out and play and not quit or give up on them. I was told once "now a days, it is easy for somebody to quit or hit the 'reset' button." - Coach Martin. So meigs will rebuild and will become better over the next few years.
  2. Im proud that meigs has 4 players that made chat times.. But yea tyler is an LB, id know cuz he was my partner all year. Hes a rough kid and hes gonna have a great next 2 years
  3. The Mobryant brothers from meigs county. Charle (junior)is about 6'4" 225lb. Hes a linebacker and 2 year all state. He holds the meigs county record for the most tackles in one game and had over 150 tackles this year. Hes a head hunter and loves to hit. Tyler Mobryant (sophmore)is about 6'0" 215lbs. He plays both linebaker and running back. When we played sweetwater he ran over 300 yards. Almost had 1,000 for the season but injuried his ankel and couldnt continue The Mobryants are both working hard in the weight room and will be players to watch and lookout for, for the 2006-2007 season.
  4. As a Meigs Co. Player, good job Greenbrier. I wish i could of played but i twisted my knee running pass routes. Both teams played well. We shoud of put the ball in when we had the chance. Good luck Greenbrier, if you beat whitehouse you could be up against one of the toughest teams Ive played. (Notre Dame)
  5. Yes it is a huge lose to have 2 of our starting linemen out for both sides. But it also give other people a chance to step it up. #75 told me he is workin out and stay fit for when/if he comes back this season. As for the qb, he ran into somebody else and i think only walked away with a stinger in his knee. Im sure he is fine now or at least in good shape. The rest of the team kept their heads high. The past two weeks have been rough but we are goin to bounce back.
  6. The JV game came out well. Although we lost, it was the first time Meigs Jv put points on the board. the score was 6-15. We had a Few minor injurys. Andrew Howard hurt his hand and Matthew Wilcox pulled a groin.
  7. We had the effort. Norte Dame is a good team. We are too, which is why last nights loss will not bring us down. Next week we have East ridge at home. Were going to prepar to make up for it.
  8. Cleveland is a tough team. I played with them my freshmen year for a while. They have A fast running back and a tough as nail Full back. They both play solid defense. I havent heard much from them. I read in the paper that their stats are addin up. Averaging 150 yards each. Good luck cleveland.
  9. C-dub, we are the underdogs cuz the odds have always been against us. This week people where picking central to win by 74%.
  10. All i can say is believe in the Tigers. We've been the underdogs and came on top plenty of times.
  11. Tellico... i mean Meigs county earned a little of respect. We held PF 21-0 in the first half. The game ended 13-27. We dont care what region we are in, we love to play football
  12. Spurling and Bostic. The passing league came too early. Most of our recievers didnt run there routs right and if they did, they couldnt catch the ball. But as for filling robbie corns shoes, Tyler roberts may move from QB to RB and Tyler Mobryant will start at RB. Our d and o line is pretty tough this year. Saddly Howie Meadows got injured first day of practice. But expect alot of us this year.
  13. I agree with charle Mobryant from Meigs. He has been training hard for next year. I had to oppertunity to be his line backer partner over spring training. Hes gonna be a head hunter and one to watch out for this season Bam Bam #20
  14. Well, it was a rough game. Good job tigers. great effort by Robbie Corn, Justin Campbell, Scotty Miller, the entire offencive line and the defence. We picked it up the second half. Good luck Marion in playoffs
  15. I think we have a chance (Meigs). I heard about the Marion, Sequatchie game ending with 33-36 and anythings posible. We had a pretty good week in practice. We need to play all 4 quarters friday. When we played Tyner we played 3/4. The second was the one that beat us. Were lookin foward to playing Marion. Good luck Marion friday
