i havent seen him play but have seen him listed in the chattanoogan....he seems to be doing fine. i think everyone is tired of him talking about himself.....thats his biggest vice. ur doing fine emilio...talk it on the field

i stand corrected...brentwood has won 3 of there last 6 games...not 5. and yes, i think brentwood could meet faragut in the finals but certain things must happen. however im not certain of this....but i believe it is to early to be sure, because of who plays who in the sub state, either as a region winner or runner up.

of course mcminn has a chance...but faragut is the team to beat...as for brentwood, they have only won 2 of their last 5 games.....they dont need to let that get in their heads...momentum is hard to turn around.

thatsignorant.....that is an ignorant statement....parents dont live thru their children....children live thru their parents...they live in their house...they eat their food.....they wear the clothes provided by their parents.....they type on the computers their parents made available for them.......they learned to play soccer by their parents paying for them to play rec...getting them to practice and games....putting them in camps....traveling on competitive teams and so on and so on. and did u say Jesus Christ.....he helps u too

brentwood may be a great team but they seem to be on a slippery slope right now...only winning 2 of their last 5 games. not good momentum heading into tourney season.

of the 6 AAA teams with a combined record of 5-7-1....4 of those losses were by one team. none of the other 5 teams had a losing record against d2 teams.

"faragut did make a lot of shots????" c'mon gameball...the score was 1-0. it is my modest opinion that 1 goal does not qualify as making a lot of shots. it might be more accurately stated as...... "faragut made a shot." just an observation

the point i was attempting to make was in response to an earlier post that said there werent weak teams in div II and if there were they would refrain running up the score on them. granted, they didnt run up the score like science hills and brentwoods 26-0 and 16-0 fiascos....but they did pull the 14-0 and 12-0 victories. however i do believe that the statements were made out of frustration by some southeastern div II teams that are good but having a dissappointing season. the bottom line is....put together the 5 best teams in each division and you would have a great tourney that i would love to see. and put together the bottom 5 teams in each division and you would have a terrible but equal tourney that id probably pass on

yes i did only point out 2.....i could have added lausanne collegiate from memphis that has posted 14-0 and 12-0 losses in div II games....or how about middle tn. christian with a pair of 8-0 losses in div II games. and we wouldnt want to overlook st. andrews, benton hall and mt. juliet. and we have already mentioned harding and st benedict above. after looking at the 25 divII teams i found listed.....25% of them are weak or very weak. there are plenty of opportunities for div II players to get their numbers.......so go ahead...score!! and if u cant, dont blame it on the lack of weak competition in div II because, as in all divisions......they are there ...and represent a significant percentage within the division.

in the redmond 11 (the ranking of All tenn teams regardless of div) there are 6 AAA teams....4 div II teams and 1 A/AA team. there is only 1 divII in the top 5. and what about harding acdy.....a div II team that lost 10-0 and 8-0 to the highest ranked div II teams......and there is st benedict another div II team with losses of 12-0 and 8-0 to ranked div II teams. div II is good at the top (as is div AAA and div A/AA) but not all good from top to bottom. and yes...there are blow outs in div II soccer where players and teams run up their stats.

price has over 20 goals now.....and he scored against the beardens of the world...twice in the 3-2 win. of course he scores against the weaker competition, but he rarely gets to play a full half. and dont overlook his double digit numbers in assists. he is a solid player and would be an asset on any team in any division in the state.

i agree...but rankings can be a funny thing sometimes. however, if i were a betting man, regardless of how they are ranked, id put my money on farragut come state tourney time. but the playing field among the top ranked teams in the state is more level than in years past......anything can happen.

congrats to brentwood......are they the best team in the state.......should we expect them to win it all?.......any and all comments welcome

the cup with the big "#1" on it, has been a bitter drink this year......lets see who gets the last sip.......there is alot of soccer to be played yet...and there appears to be alot of parity in tennessee....good luck to all in their tourneys
