I think Summertown has a great chance at making it to state again this year!!! But as for earlier comment, Bubba Clifton went to Mt Pleasant and graduated in 2008.

For all of your information-my son is on the team believe it or not his dad or anyone related to him is not the coach or any part of the coaching team. His coach is an awesome coach and would promote him if he needed to. My son is a good player and is awarded this honor based on his abilities and his willingness to work hard and try his best. All of you can be bitter about it but you need to give credit to the ones that were honored.

Tournament is being played in Perry County, Chris Carrington pitched for Summertown against Wayne County.

summertown won the championship in one game score was 14-1 in five innings. For Summertown, Gobbell, Brewer and Ivie all put one out. Tremendous game for all the fans. Thanks boys for such a great year and we are looking forward to more.

Wes Long from Summertown, one of the best I have ever seen.

Summertown High School has 5 sophmores starting. We have Wes Long at first, Logan Harville at second, Clint Gobbell at SS, and Logan Hendrix and Kaleb Pitts in the outfield. It is a young team but they are getting the job done so far.

From Summertown, Jon Ivie has 6 home runs, Chris Carrington has 7 home runs, Clint Gobbell has 4 home runs, Logan Harville has 4 and Wes Long has 1.

glad you had confidence in us, look for us on Tuesday night against Moore County.

I think our Eagles can accomplish anything they try. We have a young team this year and have managed to get this far. We have a lot of heart in our players and the "Coach of the Year", it will be a great game either way. Go Eagles.

the only district 11 team district 12 can beat is cornersville? i believe summertown beat richland pretty good in a scrimmage game earlier in the year true it is a scrimmage game but you cant forget about that
