PC 42 JC 38 Can they end Jc's season? Just did.

I once heard that to know where someone is going, you've got to know their past...Well we know PC's past and its basketball rich. Part of winning is playing by the rules, your right on that...Kevin Case I think went alittle out of the way of the rule book at jackson co. though. Some years it wouldn't have matter if jc was in our district, maybe some years it was but thats a bunch of ifs and buts that you were talking about as well. Can't wait to see this game tonight. Oh by the way is their such thing as a devildawg? Because I get on here and I can't tell the difference in clay co. fans and jackson co. fans....seems like you guys just root for whoever is better and hope they beat pc. Last year everyone was on the clay co. bandwagon, this year everyone jumped to the Jackson bandwagon. You don't see pc fans jumping ship in years we are down a bit from the year before. And as for relying on if's and but's, well i've got a problem relying on a bunch of ship jumpers opinions. But if Jackson Co. does beat pc. you'll get a good congratulation's from me. I'm sure the reffing will be fair tonight with another region's officating crew. Good luck to both teams.

They won't win by ten. JC only beat PC by 6 at their place, and by one at PC...I'm gonna go with PC by 6. Should be a great game. I look forward to seeing it.

If Jacob wright's on the court in that second ot, and maybe its a different game. Listen you beat us by one at pc, its not like you walked all over us, and as for at jc, wasn't a fairly reffed game....we'll see how it goes on a neutral court tomorrow night. Jackson co. is a very good team, I've enjoyed watching them play 4 or 5 times this year, but yes I am biased towards pc. Around here you grow up thinking that noone can play with those bobcats, and then you become one and play the same way, and then you graduate and have that same mentality. Maybe its a bad thing, but then again, maybe its why we've been to the district championship so many years in a row, maybe its why we have been to the state 9 times since '90, Maybe thats why we have 2 state titles and a runner-up. Sorry if my biased opinion doesn't set well with you, but go win a boys state title or two and then come talk to me.

Are you kidding me? FC will play with whoever wins that JC/PC game, but they will not beat them...esp. if pickett wins. FC has no one down low to match up with both of pickett's big guys. They might be able to guard one of them, but won't be able to guard both of them. And I don't think friendship has seen a guard with the tallent of Jacob Wright. But I guess thats why they play the games.

T.C. is the big dunker. Roddy is the one with the jump shot.

You west tennessee guys think your just head an tails above middle tennessee basketball. Its a different kinda game over here. I guess only time will tell who wins it. I think you west tennessee guys under estimate pickett and temple. But they both have to win there regions first.

Your right, if pickett loses a fairly reft game then you will get nothing but congrats from me. But you've got to beat us again before we do that. Pickett co. played you to two ot's at jc and with four of our first 6 players setting on the bench. If Kevin Case is not one of the refs I like Pickett's chances, he's gunning for bibb and doesn't like him so I hope he's not one of the refs. Jackson co isn't playing there best basketball right now, but I guess we will see come tuesday night how everything goes. I believe the winner of this game wins region.

Other than home court, what makes you think that Gordonsville has the tallent to run with Jackson Co.?

Bad idea, but then again I'm a traditionalist, and I don't like change. I also didn't like playing district 7a tournament at la either. I like traveling to a neutral location, taking all night to make a long drive, but then again getting to host a ball game means when I came home this weekend from tennessee tech, I didn't have to head out early to go back to watertown, so thats nice...but I'm sure I wouldn't have liked it if I was clarkrange last night, having to travel forever to get to westmoreland. So I think it doesn't cause a problem for some schools, but it makes it tough on others. Bad Idea, just like stretching out tournaments to make more money is.

Predictions for tonight's games? PC by 15 JC by 4 Friendship by 19 Clarkrange by 13

One year's record doesn't make them a powerhouse. Clarkrange and Jackson Co. are powerhouses. 12 championships between them, thats what makes powerhouses.

I'm gonna pick PC and Friendship...Its PC's time got a win against jackson co. On a neutral court, and without Kevin Case as one of the officials, I like pickett's chances. But come talk to me again after pickett co. and jackson co. win their first round games. And noone is saying that Friendship will beat clarkrange in the semi finals either.

I agree senator, I think jackson co. will have the best chance of being upset by gordonsville, but gordonsville will have to have there a game to win. I don't think westmoreland or trousdale has a chance at winning either of their games. I watched both teams play last night and they are both small, and don't match up well with pickett or clarkrange. Well I think 7a could travel in to sub state and win, that is if grace or csas ends up beating temple, which I don't see happening.

Well I know that district 8A doesn't play their finals til tomorrow night, but 7A is now done. Should be a great tournament. This year I don't think 7a will sweep the first round of games like they did last year. Well PC won by 9, just as I projected....Clarkrange played their hearts out, and I commend them for that, but at the end of the day pickett co. was just to much for the buffalos. Congratulation to Jacob Wright for getting the district 7 tournament mvp, I think he averaged close to if not more than 30 pts a game during the tournament. Also Congratulation to Brett Roddy, T.C. Capps, and Brent Logan for their part in the all tournament team. It looks like that if everything goes as planned that the blue devils and bobcats will be playing at watertown in the regional semi-finals for the right to go to the region finals and then to the substate. Should be a blow-out for pickett co. saturday against whoever they play, but who knows, stranger things have happened. Good luck to all district 7a teams.

I'm sure you all thought he couldn't get 40 the other night either, not saying it will happen though....If the other guards continue to struggle like I've seen in the last two games I've watched, jacob may have to have 40-50 for them to win. Good luck to all the teams playing tonight.

JC would have gotten beat by Grace Bapitist last year as well. Its about having the chance to go to state, and jackson lost that right when they lost to clay co. in the region last year. I think Jackson co was in the bracket with friendship and clay co. last year because they got beat by pickett co. in the semi's of the district, but I've been wrong before. They chocked in tourny time last year, and they did it again in the semi finals this year. Until they do something right, like beat pickett co in the tournament, I won't give them any credit. Congrats to pickett co. for making it to the district championship, for something like 10 straight years.
