How can you tell the 2nd Team All-State goalie he is stepping over the line by critiquing the other main goalies in the state? Regardless of what he thinks, every other coach in the state kinda ranked him in all those places you said he shouldn't, near Carver and Kay, so I dunno why you would say that to him. Just kinda got to me the amount of respect you show to the guy who singlehandedly kept Webb in every single game.

When I was at Top Star last summer I think a goalie and a long pole from Cali both were on the 1st All-Star Team...Anyone on the 1st All-Star Team can pretty much play at any D1 school they want to.

I know that at least in the Bell Buckle region they are showing two games Saturday on CSS...the first one either at 10 or 11, and the second at either 1 or 2. I guess the games are going to be Hopkins vs. UVA and Maryland vs. Duke.

The thing about USN this year was that they definately had the talent, but they had no depth. At most they probably had 10-12 guys on the sideline and those guys probably just didn't have the talent the starters had. I dunno anything about Berger.

Laxpower.com has a list of TN players and where they are playing, but it definately doesn't have all the people. There has to be more MBA, MUS, and McCallie guys playing next year...like Gregor, Sawyer, Turk, Banker, Rainer, Taylor, Grapski, Kizer, and some other McCallie defenders.

That win sounds really sexy.

I don't know exactly how the stats are done. But for example in Webb's 2nd game aginst MBA, MBA had bout 54 shots, but Webb's stats say Abernathy faced 43 shots. So I'm guessing that the stats people don't count shots that totally miss the cage. That would be why it appears that he saves everything execpt the one that go in. I'm just gonna throw in my two-cents on Chris Taylor...total bad-######. He is so quick, very Regan-esque. I haven't seen Rainer play, which obviously effects this opinion, but I think he is very worthy of 1st team.

As far as I know he is one of the starting offensive middies, so he probably has improved his left and his game the past year and a half. Thats all I can really guess.

Cyrus Adams had 3 goals in F&M's win over Ursinus, and Thomas Jennings had 4 goals and 1 assist in HS loss to Roanoke. Both are currect goal leaders on their team and second for total points. Eamon Thornton is tied for third for total points for HS. Looks like TN guys are doing really well this season.

Sry Redtwin...I didn't mean for that statement to sound like it was directed at you. I agree with you...I was responding to the original post. Now, I don't know if the original post was intended to imply that Webb's stats are padded...it just kinda came across like that...if it wasn't, then my bad...

I hope you are not implying that Webb add GB's, goals or assists to their stats that they didn't get...I would not respect any team that did that, I guarentee that the stats keepers at Webb do not pad the stats...Couch Bloom would simply not allow that. Obviously every team has "stat" games, but I don't think Webb has any more of those than any other team, outside of the top three. I agree that in the past few years Webb has had players who have had good numbers, but that doesn't mean that the team is going to do well. So, by Webb always being 6th, 7th, or 8th in the state, but still having players with good stats...that doesn't mean the numbers are made up.

I don't really understand why phat boi has such an problem with USN. There obviously isn't any point in arguing with him though. I think it will just look better if you USN guys didn't respond, there isn't any point in defending your team against this guy. Every other player on this forum knows your team doesn't stink, he is just making MBA look bad, even though they aren't (class wise). USNLax wasn't being sincere when he said "so i guess yalls middies are bad to", he was just making a point.

Yea it was fun, I have to admitt. I totally agree kozcrews#1 about tic for tack, it only adds to the game.

Yea, I went to elementary school with him, and played with him in 8th and 9th grade. He was pretty good, but I guess tennis was his thing.

I heard Regan was looking at Vandy...or someother school that doesnt have lax. Thats what I heard.

Yea, I really don't know how USN didn't get anyone on mid-field. I played them twice, and MBA twice, and I know a few of USN's mids were a little better than MBA's.
