sorry zacattack...havent been on here in a few days...school and baseball has been filling my spare time. yeah its a 6:30 at karns. owenby v. lockwood

scoreboard thinks every player on his team(powell) is the best at every position. treece is a player, but i dunno about best in the state.

Lockwood is a sophomore-he is a baller. he has i think 12+ now. last year he threw consistently 85-87 with a off the table curveball. this year he has been hit alittle more than last year but the curveball is still nasty. his stick has gotten better since last year. got a really good arm in the OF-can make some nice diving plays.

grad-read what i wrote and grow up alittle-your acting like your 12! i said thats what they told us!!! i didnt make that up-we dont care who won it-we didnt, but congrats. thats all we can say. your making such a small comment that wasnt even our own into something big. proves that your a sore "real" winner.

TJ better watch out for #6 over there at Halls-the one and only Powell trasnfer-NATE SLATON! he can scoot lol all fun and games TJ and Nate

well its come to prove that if your mental state is down-you'll lose ball games. not puttin down any other team, but Karns Halls and Powell has the best talent in the district. they may come out and hustle but when you dont execute and stuff like halls did last night and looks like karns didnt either-your gonna lose. this district is a wild one! i know Polston,Lawson, and Sharp are pulling their hair out worrying about their teams. They should all 3 teams have had some upsets this year. Cant wait till tourny starts-it might be ugly but it might be pretty.

Halls definately has a strong team coming back with 11 returning on offense and 8 returning starters on defense with the addition of a very talented 6'5'' 225 lb. linebacker Cody May. Halls shoulod have a heck of a team returning and watch out for Mynatt and Lucas hooking up for the long ball. Josh Brock should be good this year since he has a years experience bringing us water.

well i dont really enjoy all the sarcasm. you won it and drop it! deep ball i dont appreciate your comments about halls! that wasnt the only mistake by that ump in that game. there was a kid running to second that was hit clearly by a hit ball(the ball even changed directions)-2 runs scored off that-it should have been dead ball the runner is out. your comments about us were wrong and i think they deserve an apology. we might need help but after the calls in that game we have a right to be the way we are. i think it was a good tourny, but some stuff was alittle weird. one thing i did like about soddy was while on second base during a pitching change the one of the soddy coaches told the guy on second to tell our pitcher jeff lockwood sorry for the way the fans were acting towards him. i believe there was a high school boy in the stands that "the parking lot was big" and such...first of all lockwood would have murdered him and second it wasnt even jeffs fault as to what our coach was arguing. but that showed some class-the 3B and 1B(Derek Bates) were 2 nice guys. but as i said before-lets ease up on the negative comments towards people-be negative toward an ump or something but stereotyping and saying that use Halls people need help is pushing it. Tell my boy Derek Bates congrats on the all tourny team(we go way back-elem school and middle) REMEMBER YOUR ROOTS DB!

yeah he is outstanding as a sophomore just like his good buddy jeff lockwood, but over all with hitting and fielding and arm i think cale is still on top of him. i will not take anything from tony because he is a true player

i think it will be a throw up between Lockwood from Halls and Waldrop from Farragut on the KIL HR race. someone let me know how many waldrop has-lockwood has 12 i believe(maybe more but not less)

Umm well...Halls beat McCallie Saturday Ingle(spelling) by a few...went over to soddy and got raped by a few chatty umpires. We didnt play well enough to win through it all because everyone's focus fell off the game and how crudy the umpiring was. i hate excuses more than anyone and like i said above we didnt play well enough, but several bad calls by umpires will pull down anytime that has a chance of a win. i know if a soddy person sees this they will go off but when umpires call a foul ball, call someone out, then when the coach comes out and says something, changes it back to foul ball-theres something up with that. when a hit ball hits a kids foot running to second base and the ball changes directions and you dont call it-theres something up with that. overall it was a great tourny with some pretty good competition in it. we were happy to be down there and play. even though there was no "real" winner, congrats to the owls on the "kinda" champ. lol

yeah i was talking about bowman this maybe sound alittle crazy but here at Halls we were looking forward to seeing Bowman. not saying that there isnt good pitching in our district, but there is more bad than good

he isnt struggling at the plate!!! 11 HR's and batting over .400!!! and he hits the farthest balls ive ever seen hit in BP dring practice. he was kept in the game because of his bat...dont really know what to say about the throw lol but i saw it too,but you cant take a bat like his out of the lineup

he IS NOT one of the best hitters in the KIL-but he is a player! not saying he's not a bad hitter,he's just not one of the best. good guy and good player. takin over well at short now that bowman is gone(cant really compare the bat of bowman v. helton or the arm of bowman v. helton but hes fillin the role

well this post is stupid. but we all no hargis will cheap shot iorg like he did cameron sharp in the basketball district game if he doesnt watch out. im jk-hargis is a pretty cool guy-alittle cocky but he's a pretty nice guy. holla out to the powell boys...some of you dont like me and i dont know y but props out to you this year...you all have stepped it up and proved alot of people wrong about your team this year-job well done. you'd be better with nate though!

well karns thinks they have it in a bag...dont count us out boys! you def cant count lockwood out...someone said earlier in the post that if lockwood pitches is a loss...disagree...look at lockwoods performance against karns...that homerun-a throwing mistake taking the pitch out over the plate-thats about it. Iorg-what was he 0-3 0-4 w/ 2 k's? if lockwood is ready to pitch he'll sit you down. lol-its always times like these when teams think they have it and a team bites em in the butt. well we're off to chatty for some good baseball-lookin forward to a good week next week and then district tourny rolls around. i hate that it has to be this close i nthe district again...but just like last year-there are no "ties"! no split champs! it all comes down to district tourny anywayz
