well 2 of your 90+ throwers are out. one is out for good and one is out for 2 weeks(no hitting no throwing) larsen twiqued a muscle the other night against clinton. wont be back till district tourny. i hate to see that- we'll miss that bat and HOSE in our lineup

the only place i would have seen helton playing would have been left/right(if he can even play OF) or third. patrick would leave center because he's fast and has a good arm, plumlee is in tight with his position and treece can mash. but no he's not going so no worries for daddy helton on next years QB position

Central team was better im sorry! All around-Waldrop doesnt even compare to Helton! Farragut is a great ballteam and ill be the first to say that, but putting it all together Central's team was all around a better team.

actually its 18 and there are apparently 3 tied at that. chad boruff has been at practice the past 2 days helping us out hitting. coach was in a good mood today so everyone sat on the backstop huge net we got and watched me pitch some BP to him. i was throwing them 3 inches off the ground and he would hit a line drive off the fence and even hit about 5 out...buddy of my mine spencer turner stepped in to throw to him and he hit a ball oppo and it prolly would have been bout 390 to 400 if there wasnt a telephone pole today. to add to the BP story-jeff lockwood hit the farthest ball i have ever seen been hit in BP today. went over the fence, over another fence that sets about 15 feet plus the height of the fence, and one hop'd a house that sets a good while away. props to my boy-i mean it was just BP but he's been mashin lately

Daniel is the hardest working player on and off the field. Daniel and i got into a little scuffle one game that didnt look to well. it wasnt us mad at each other it was me trying to pick my team mate up and well he wasnt in the mood. lol he sets very high expectations on himself and that gets himself down alot. signs of a ballplayer though! wont settle for less than his best! the kid missed a practice so he could finish his research paper for english. this wasnt a wait till the last minute thing where he waited till the end to do it, he busted his butt on his free time to get a good grade and he wasnt satisfied and wanted that good grade so he did what he had to do and coach let it fly because we all know how hard he works. i love that kid-he has great potential in life because he gives 110% at everything he does! my props go out to Larsen-he's a heck a ball player, heck of a student, and all around heck of a guy!

Halls had 7 errors and 7 walks i believe-wasnt to pretty on the halls side tonight. Powell caught the breaks and got the job done when they needed to-Halls didnt tough loss for Halls-shake it and play the next one Beat them Beavers Powell lol

well i grew up playing with hickam and swaggerty-they are 2 great guys. and yes it was bowman. coach cox was apparently making a statement by doing this. i dont know if it was to smart. suspen'd them for a few games but for the rest of the season i think is to much(if you want a future for your team) i havent talked to hickam or swag yet but i heard from other people that they have been trouble all year. i dunno though! they planned to boycot the practice and the other guys bailed on em. coach cox made his point-i dunno if it was an all around good decision hollas out to my boys swag and hickam-sorry you all had to learn the hard way

i just read over that post and it almost sounds like im whining. in a sense i am, but for the most part im not. i refuse to say that farragut isnt a good team-they are the best around so dont get me wrong-what im saying is hearing farragut this and farragut that is getting old-give some other schools credit for their good games or their good players-it doesnt have to be farragut at everything

farragut is a great team dont get me wrong but it gets old hearing about them. everyone knows how good they are-when you tihnk of baseball in east tenn farragut should cross your mind so y mention them on everyboard,every newspaper, every sports broadcast-its just getting old
