Farragut has lost some of that confidence that has been a key advantage in the past. They need to quit worrying about losing some of their seniors from last year and start focusing on what they have now. I look at every position on the field and see a strong base of talent. From what I have seen they need to quit being so dang uncomfortable with the ball and start being harder and more aggressive and just come out and run over people. If you ever get to watch Farragut, notice what they will do...starting from the back they will look great, working it around and making it to the midfield. Everything looks fine up until they make it to around the other third of the field where things tend to get too confusing for them. They will panic and not know what to do. This isn't cause of lack of talent or coaching, its because they seem to go by the book, do the obvious. They don't know what to do once getting that far. They just need to have fun and grow some nuts and take on people when unexpected, make runs when unexpected, or just simply run them over. Quit looking for the expecting and start doing the unexpected. Most of Farragut's goals came from off the ball runs last year. You think Jared Britcher just simply ran it around people and scored everytime? No, it was a connection between their midfield and forwards, they all knew where the other one was going to do without even looking, it was almost instict. Next time you watch them, watch their midfielders and forwards and see if they ever do make those runs off the ball. If they do realize that they are a powerhouse still then their results should change. Have fun and have confidence.

I have played against Doyle at a competetive level, and I would have to say that he isn't that great. My name is never brought up in the threads, such as "Best Players" or "Best Goal Scorers" but I would have to say that I am better than Doyle. Honestly....he stinks. He just cherry-picks in front of the goal and scores alot. AARON IS THE MOST OVER-RATED PLAYER IN TENNESSEE.

I am a player for Farragut and I just want to give a shout out to all of the seniors and the juniors who helped us win state. I will miss you guys and good luck to next years team.

There is only one way that Mcminn can pull of a victory in this game against Farragut, and it would have to be for Patty Henshaw to break out in a rat attack mode(which was invented by his brother) but other than that, it just cant be done. Nice abs Santy.

Actually if Farragut and Mcminn both win there regions they wont play each other till the state finals. Farragut lost to Bearden last year in the regions, and Mcminn won theirs, thats why they were seeded together in the first round.

Farragut has a tough match with Oak Ridge coming up...If we lose to them then we could see Mcminn in the first round again, considering they have an easy road to state. Goodluck to Mcminn and I hope we are the last two left in state. Oh yea, nice abs Santy.

well if they are going to surprise anyone then they will have to get by Farragut cause thats who they play on wedsneday (and i guess that would be a surprise to many in that one if they won)

I think they should have two sudden death overtimes, and if they are still tied then end it as a tie. Also, we should have the same set of rules in all states. Georgia does not end there games as a tie.

How about all of you guys quit ruining the posts by arguing whether McMinn Co. is good or not, or whether Jared Price can score. If they think that they are good and that Jared is a good goal scorer, then let them post it. There are like 3 pages of arguing, nobody wants to read it.
