Yeah, he plays for Sweetwater. He's their leading scorer, and is first or second on the assist charts. Definitely a talented player, and it'll be exciting to watch his high school career. They're playing David Brainerd tonight in the district tournament; it should be a good game!

I've seen this guy kick, and I agree he has power. What he lacks is control. He's unpredictable. You never know if it's going to go true or veer to either side of the posts. Sweetwater's got a decent freshman who, once he hits the weights a little more, could be a very big threat as he gets older.

In addition to Sweetwater having several outstanding athletes, Sweetwater is also very well coached. Coach Houston has been a coach of Sweetwater soccer (in some shape, form or fasion) for almost 20 years. She has the knowledge and experience that, combined with some outstanding athletes, can make a serious run for the A/AA title. Go Lady Cats!!

Well, people need to get their facts straight before they start talking smack. The conditions were horrible. I honestly don't think the game should have been played yesterday. The rain would not stop. And you think Sweetwater has bad sportsmanship? I didn't think it was considered good sportsmanship for a defender for Boyd to run by the sidelines and call a fan (namely, me) a "fat b*tch". Gee, that speaks a whole lot for your program. And almost all of the cards during the Boyd game were questionable. But Sweetwater has a strong team and when they get all the kinks worked out, I wouldn't suprised to see them in Memphis at the end of May. Go Wildcats!

I'm with sugapie80 when I say Walker Valley is the most respectful team we have played, and everyone is always a good sport. Personally, I think Sweetwater is going to ER to kick some tail. I know that Farragut's Lindsey Samarin, Bearden's Alicia Borris, and Sweetwater's Virginia Houston all train with Harry Backhurst at The Yard in Knoxville. He's an excellent instructor and is an assistant coach at Webb. All these girls are power hitters.

Sweetwater defeated Heritage 2-1, and then they beat Bearden 2-0. Then they lost to Powell 7-0 (mostly on errors).

Sweetwater did not play CC, because CC was put out by Hendersonville. Sweetwater lost to Hendersonville 6-0, mostly on errors. Good job coming back after Day 1 and going 3-1 on Saturday, Lady Cats!! Keep up the good work!
