  1. which teams are in the new 12-a?
  2. his name is bruce jumper
  3. ive played in a perfect game and i think ive seen a triple play before, maybe twice but ive never seen someone hit for the cycle. that being said, i still think a perfect game is the hardest. like someone said earlier, a lot more has to go right for you, you cant slip and hit a guy or give up a bloop hit or even an error. ill say perfect game is hardest, then cycle, then triple play.
  4. did summertown play p.c. or was it clifton (frank hughes) whatever they are called ?
  5. i think there is already a thread referring to the ca/mp game. you might want to try searching for it, i think theres a few pages already. just thought id let you know a/b it.
  6. sorry a/b that, my internet messed up and apparently when i clicked refresh it re-posted my message.
  7. the competition isnt that great but throwing a no-hitter or perfect game is still a great accomplishment for those guys. also, other teams play the same teams we play but they dont throw no-hitters. we have a good team, i believe that we could hold our own against some of the bigger schools.

  9. watchdog...do you stalk these ppl or what? who are you and how do you know all of these players so personally?
  10. when you say maury co. hs all star team, do you mean present players or anyone that has ever played hs ball in maury co.?
  11. just a thought a/b ca/mp players going to the next level...maybe a lot of them havent really tried to go to the next level? I mean you cant sit here and tell me that Adam Anderson, Drew Love or Josh Kempfer couldnt have played somewhere if they had really wanted to. They probbaly couldnt have played for a big D-1 college but I strongly believe that they could have played college baseball somewhere had they wanted to. If someone wants to play badly enough at the next level, they can find a place to play, its just a matter of whether they really want to or not.
  12. yeah i think juiceman was being sarcastic, he was referring to the earlier thread that said ca stunk and their pitching staff stunk.
  13. Kevin Creech of Columbia Academy is an outstanding assistant coach. He cares about his players and works hard to make them better. He has a bright coaching career ahead of him.
  14. Columbia Academy has an awesome field. Our new backstop is lookin good too. Also, Lookout Valley has a nice-looking field, its fun to play at.
  15. ca 10-0 on mcbroom's 2nd no-hitter of the year
  16. CA threw its 3rd no-hitter of the season against collinwood, winning 10-0. It was Nathan McBroom's 2nd no-hitter of the season. Thats 3 no-hitters in the first 5 games of the season, now tell me when the last time that happened?
  17. Clint Shelby from CA no-hit Perry Co. today. But yall are right, our pitching staff does stink, I mean just look at the numbers...3 games, 2 no-hitters, 0 earned runs in 18 innings. If thats a stinky pitching staff, then I hope we stink all year long. Go Dawgs!
  18. Columbia Academy threw its second no-hitter of the week against perry co. today. clint shelby also had a/b 12 k in the game.
  19. you failed to mention that mcbroom was on a summer team that included college players and that went to the region or world series
  20. Jason "Juice Man" Pullen from CA is by far the best bullpen catcher in the state. He shines like no other player. He's also developed a pretty nasty curve ball and a nice little knuckler while biding his time in the pen. Known to his teammates simply as Pullen, he gets our vote as the best bullpen catcher in the state.
  21. i heard richland was supposed to scrimmage columbia academy sometime before the regular season, what was the outcome of that game?
  22. ca won 2-0 on mcbroom's no-hitter
  23. Harry Carey on a couple kissing after every pitch during a Cubs game... "I've figured it out! He's kissing her on the strikes, and she's kissing him on the balls."
