Temple isnt overrated. I dont know how you can say they are. Someone made a good point how can u be overrated if your not rated. Yes, Temple isnt as good as the last 2 years but they've made it to the final 8 in the state and thats all you can ask for. They play in a tough region where 3 of the past 4 state champs have come from and in the same district as Grace who is also a pretty darn good team so yes there for real.

First round almost here! Here are my predictions I dont know alot about some of these teams so i would like your imput. CPA beats Rockwood My first tourney upset is Grace over Greenfield Temple over Halls FRA over Unaka

I think grace as a great shot of winning. They beat Temple in the district finials. They play in the same region as Temple and ccs (3 of the last 4 state champs) So its hard to get out of the region but their a good team. They won on the road at trousdale county which is hard to do at trousdales place. Their very young start 3 sophmores but they play with alot of heart. They have a good shot of knocking off greenfeild.

It would also be better if they got the records right. Grace is 23-9 not 16-10 which is prob. why their not listed.

Who do you think can do some damage in the class A tourney that people arent thinking about. Yes CPA has to be the favorite to take home the gold ball but who can suprise people and make a run as a sleeper team! Lets hear bout them.

As far as simply high school players in eastern tennessee, I think Chattanooga Christians Janson Holwerda has to be included in that list. He hasnt turned out at Vanderbilt like some people thought but a very good high school player none the less. Also lead CCS to a state championship.

Grace will bring a pretty good size crowd but nothing like Greenfeild did last year in the final. But Grace won at Trousdale I dont know if you have ever been to trousdale but its loud and very hostile. the crowd is a big part of the game but grace won a big substate game on the road in a very very loud crowd. And it is a neutral court so i dont think it will be a huge factor.

Sophmore Nick Van Horn did sprain his ankle in the substate win at trousdale. But he will be playing. The trainer said he will be at 90 to 95% by game time. So that shouldnt be a major factor.

How right are these polls? Its has Grace at like 16-10 when there 23-9 and it says theve lost to Cosby and weve never played Cosby.

I've never seen Halls play but I hear about there streetball like play but i dont think that will affect Temple at all. Temple has a couple very quick kids too. Caleb Skogan is very quick and shouldnt struggle. But it should be a fairly good game but Temple should win.

I dont know why you guys are dogging Grace and Temple so much. There in the top 8 teams in the state. You dont get their by accident. There both good they play in the toughest region in the state where 3 of the last 4 state champs have came from(Temple and ccs.) And still no respect. Dont over look either of these teams.

I dont know much about Rockwood but I've seen CPA play and they have to be the favorite to take home the gold ball there really good and play a nice zone press along with a great offence. Its hard to think CPA could be stoped in the first round.

I dont know much about the team from greenfeild other than they were a cinderalla team last year who made it to the finals. They like Grace didnt win the region and had to go on the road to win Sub state. But dont count grace out they are young and have some quailty wins aginst a McCallie team and Temple in the district final. They have young kids who can shoot the ball well sophmore Davis Eldridge shoots a nice jumper And fellow sophmore Nick Van horn is also very talented and shouldnt be affected by the ankle injury in the sub state. So who has the edge?
