  1. They signed him because they think they can MAKE him a good player. He does have talent but he does not have a coach to bring the best out of him. I'm not saying that Liberty would just run all over Mitchell, I am simply stating that Mitchell isn't that much better if any better than Liberty.
  2. OK...Thornton is a bump on a log, Powell shoots way too much and Brandon Evans can and did shut him down earlier in the year. Thad can't be stopped and he is going to get his. No disrespect to their program but they are not well-coached this year and they almost got beat by Bolivar without Wayne Chism the whole second half. You are sadly mistaken if you think Mitchell would have to play their worst game of the year to get beat by Liberty.
  3. How are you just going to say that Mitchell will beat Liberty? At the first of the year Liberty played Mitchell in a playday and only lost by 3. That was at the first of the season when Liberty was playing nothing like they are now.
  4. Oak Hill....I watched them and Brentwood this year in person and watched Lawerence North on TV. Oak Hill beat North College Hill, a team with O.J. Mayo, Bill Walker and that other good 6'10 junior, by 14 points the other day. Oak Hill has 6 D-1 signees and that would be too much for either team to handle.
  5. Liberty also played without star Brandon Evans last night in their rout over Cheatham Co.
  6. Liberty beat Cheatham Co. 94-60. Brandon Evans did not play because of a minor ankle injury he did not want to risk getting hurt worse.
  7. Guys I haven't been on here much since the Bolivar game and I was just now reading all the posts where people were bashing Liberty. They don't stand for stuff like this as you can see, it will not be tolerated.
  8. Liberty vs. Cheatham County @ Lexington starting at 8:30. Sycamore and Lexington play at 5:30 and Harperth and McNairy play @ 7
  9. i was watchin the game too....from just about as close as you were
  10. he didn't pump his chest and point at the coach....i don't know which game you were watching
  11. Don't talk bad about Sain. You said he stays trash talking but so does Wayne. So please don't talk bad about them. He wanted that team trophy way more than the individual award, but last night was not the night to get it as Liberty got outplayed.
  12. no trust me, no one i mean no one will accuse him of not believing
  13. haha...we don't hate you because most of you don't post things like juke.
  14. I don't think Juke thinks about what he is saying before he says it.
  15. This is crazy, this is the most evenly opinionated game I have ever seen. I'm for Liberty but I do have a lot of respect for Bolivar and their program. Either way this is going to be a dogfight and it will come down to the wire. I can't wait until tomorrow night at 8 o'clock when that ball goes up and either Jones or Chism swipes it out of the air. From that moment on the Chester Co gym will be a mad house.
  16. Yeah I did to. Firefulmer, I really agree with most of your posts but Liberty beat Lexington by 22 points. Bolivar beat McNairy by 4 and Lexington tore McNairy up earlier in the season.
  17. that is correct.......any predictions?
  18. This is one of the most highly anticipated games of the year and it has all the makings to be a classic as Bolivar has won both games by a total of 5 points. Will the green and white walk out with another district title or will the new guys from Liberty overcome the champs? I'm not going to give a score but I think the Crusaders take the title.
  19. This was a well played game by the Crusaders as they knocked off Lexington by a score of 96-74. The leading scorer was Jewuan Long who had 17 points. Devon Jones, Zack Williams, and Josh Irvin all added 16 in a very balanced scoring attack from Liberty. Brandon Evans was the only other double digit scorer for Liberty as he added 10. This sets up a very highly anticipated match up between Liberty and Bolivar.
  20. Actually Liberty beat Haywood twice, once at home, and once at their house.
  21. He is going to be a great fit and the team will be awesome with him and Joe Shivers coming in next year.
  22. I just want to know how everyone thinks the game will turn out.
